Has anyone heard anything on a release of pewter Battlelore Miniatures? I enjoy the look of Battlelore but the stark contrast of the grey-drab miniatures just begs to be painted. However, even with attempts to remove the mold release from the plastic and basing them in very high quality primers before painting, the fact of the matter remains that these are bendable, rubbery plastic.

Is there anyone out there having the same kind of problems? Would anyone else like to see a stand-alone set of pewter miniatures in a blister pack and water-slide decals to put on banners? With the price and often world-searching availability of some of these expansions, is there anyone who is tired of ruining miniatures with a paint attempt?

I find that if you prime them with GW's Choas black and then seal everything in with a varnish when you are done, then the colours stand up to damage and use very well. Try that with your plastics and let us know how it goes.
