In a world, where FAQ's get FAQ'd and erratta'd , can someone give me a thought as to the interaction between Fire Control System allowing Weapons Engineer to grab a TL on a second ship? I haven't found anything that says it doesn't still work yet, but I'm out of certain loops sometimes.

Yep, it works. One of the two ships has to be the defender, but the other one can be any other legal target.

They've always worked together, and probably always will. There's nothing wrong with the interaction that I can see that would cause any change to them.
