Not that competitive on AvengerBT. As far as I’ve seen Tua is the only crew most people use on AvengerBT.

agreed. and the kuat may become the preferred BT avenger ship (even though it only has a squad value of 2) but it already has the defensive retrofit slot, and adds an ordnance slot

Yeah, this card is fantastic, both from a "I want to use it to whoop some butt" perspective and from an "it's well-designed to have counterplay without being junk--probably" one. I like it very much.

Just can't wait to see the details on the rumored Rebel opposite... :)

After deployment, pick a round and you must activate first? 7 point Officer?

Maybe I wasn't clear. In the mirror match with identical rounds chosen by each player, the first player would do their "Pryce" activation before the second player did their "Pryce" activation (because of the timing rule Dras referred to). That's what I mean by them getting "last-last" activation.

The only tiny hiccup would be the interpretation of "(after all other ships have activated)". In the Pryce mirror match scenario, there is still another ship that hasn't activated.

Because the timing is the same - besides, they are both Pryce ships, all OTHER ships are non-Pryce ships... boom. Problem solved. ?

Sorry, I was trying humour for once.

I still use them.

(Mostly because I can't get hold of one of those sweet acrylic round markers that went out as a tournament prize. :( )

This is exactly what I was referring to. First player Price activates, there is still an unactivated ship so she has to delay her ship activation. Second player Price activates and does the same. first player Price activates and ...

Screw Thrawn, this is the upgrade to Make Tagge Great ‘Again’

because a mega-telegraphed turn two is amazing

Bail Organa most likely due to the leaked spread :D

And appreciated. I laughed! :)

The parenthetical statement on the card is probably meant to clarify, but they could leave it off and it would be just as clear and not cause any problems for the Rules Community (tm).

Fail.

FFG should just have used the rules from IA: as long as you opponent has more activations than you, you can pass.

Where is the fluff on Price for this ability anyways?

She doesn’t turn up until SW: Rebels is well underway and on its end run (season3), despite being named from early on.

Also, she enables Thrawn there, too.

parallels!

Governor Pryce thank you very much. :)

(No idea seems to be from Rebels.)

I do.

First impressions of the card are fairly positive, even with the telegraph. I'd like to try her out in a dual ISD list alongside Thrawn, I suspect she is going to be a fairly common sight in that sort of list.

I suspect her most comfortable spot is on the bridge of a Kuat refit, since those black dice are so very sensitive to positioning.

The most info you will get on Governor Pryce is in “Thrawn”.

In short though, she is ruthless and willing to do whatever it takes to stamp out problems and win.

Setting up the perfect moment is part of her deal. (Re: Moff Gadhi)

One aspect of this card that also needs to be considered is its “passive” impact.

Even if on the turn you activate last ends up being sub-optimal, there’s every possibility you’ve messed with your opponents plan and forced them to manoeuvre their ships in a way that isn’t in accordance with their plan just to avoid getting smashed by the ISD (of course other ships can take it too!).

Except in IA you rotate first player. It might work in Armada, but I think there could be issues with Demolisher and other ships that want to first last consistently.

She's a pretty sneaky person. Lots of political intrigue with her.

This is an interesting card. It benefits you as a first player but no high activation. Also I see telegraphing when it's about to happen really messing up the other player. Crap gotta watch out for turn 3 and 4

Keep in mind, though, you're giving up a very competitive slot. That means no Minister Tua for one. The timing can also be tricky if your opponent can adapt quickly enough.

This is what makes it seem to be an almost exclusively ISD2/ISDK officer. As much as I'd love that on my VSD, I don't think I can afford to skip out on Tua.

I don't know if I have my round tokens anymore... But am excited to use this card.

Well, you'll either have to buy a new core set, or wait until FFG decides to offer custom round tokens as prizes (undoubtedly at the World Championships this year). We're sticklers around here. :)

Unimpressed. Really liked the card until I read that you have to specifically dictate before hand which round you use her in. Any first/last list worth its salt will be able to delay action until after this critical moment.

Hopefully, I'm wrong but I see her hanging out with Tagge and NK-7 Ion Cannons in forgotten land.
