Scrambler Missiles and damage

If Scrambler Missiles are paired with Saturation Salvo and miss their target everyone at R1 of the Defender has to roll a red die and suffer any hits or crits. rolled.

How great is that! A missile that does no damage if it hits can possibly do damage on a miss!

You are.

It's a TERRIBLE card.

Note the restriction on agility of targets it affects, so if you use it e.g. with Thread Tracers it can only damage Decimators. Or nothing, if you use them on a K Fighter.

Scrambler Missiles and Saturation Salvo are bad... But yes it means a non damaging attack could do damage lol

The only combo that I can even think of using this is Double Edge with 2 cruise missiles and munition failsafe in some kind of epic format (hopefully against Rebels). The added dice are optional... so you could trigger 2 area effect attacks this way.

There are better way to spend 27 points, however.

Unguided Rockets and TLT is probably better, but UGR will only saturate 1 agi targets, and you're better off spending your EPT on hitting or being missed.

Now give Quinn Jast Sat Slavo, MF and Homing missiles and play hit and run all day long without a care *P, if you miss you hit and if you hit you hit and only have to reload when you hit all for a tidy 27pts.

Or just give a generic an HLC for cheaper, and give it crack shot. Why bother with all the fiddle faddle?
