looks like a bad comic book drawing of a lambda. its really supposed to be new?

wait...yea...its the same but bigger. classic F/O design.

Smaller, not bigger, going by its description in ICS: The Last Jedi. It's a Xi- class shuttle.

Because two and a half shuttles is probably enough. We've got cheap Lambda, hard-hitting Upsilon, and the title TIE shuttle. I mean, new F/O shuttle, Sentinel, Delta, Cargo, and Reaper is a lot of crew carriers, and most of them kinda look the same.

Personally, the only one I'm interested in is TIE Reaper, because it seems like it'd be the only one which is different. Make it lightly armed (2-dice), but a ship which can actually fly (dial more like a YT-1300 than an Upsilon). Second large base with a native boost perhaps?

Another thought for a TIE Reaper: release it also with a TIE Striker in the box, like the Ghost + Phantom expansion. This could allow for an alternate TIE Striker title with bombs and new pilots.

No more shuttles, plz... I like this game as a space superiority aerial/subspace combat game, not as some shipping and cargo simulator.

For gameplay, the Imps really need something in a similar role as the IG-2000: few (if any) crew slots, loads of weapon options, a native boost and green dial. Some kind of quick strike craft that gives up half its points at the end of the game when it is at half health. (like Darth Maul's Scimitar , although that's part of a different generation and I don't think there's any evidence that it was ever in use for the Empire)

This makes me think about Imperials and their need for a new large base ship.

-- How about some sort of large base TIE fighter with a crew slot. Have it be a cheaper Imperial Brobot, but different somehow.

It is!

In the Lando comic miniseries, the bounty hunter Chanath Cha ( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Chanath_Cha ) is loaned the Scimitar by Palpatine. The droid who assisted with it explained that it was used for extended periods of time by various special individuals. I've misplaced my copy of the TPB, so that's mostly drawn from the Wiki.
