So I decided to consolidate the Talents from the Gencon pre-generated characters into one document and figure out what tiers they would fall into. Posting here to share with the community. PEACH.
Gencon Pregen Talents
Finesse should probably move up to Tier 2 (SW FaD has it there). Other than that, I really like both Tumble and Reckless Charge and somehow missed them when I read through the gencon sheets.
So my reasoning on Finesse was based on the requirements of the Talent Pyramid. Thaiden sheet has has two known tier 1 talents, Grit and Clever Retort and 1 known tier 3, Rapid Archery.
That left Finesse, Wraithbane, and Dirty Tricks. If you change Finesse to t2 then one of the others have to be T1.
SWRPG is non-binding, so I don't think Finesse Tier 2 is set in stone. However, I think that talent sounds more like a Tier 2 talent described in the Genesys create a talent section.
Are we sure the pre-gens abided by the talent pyramid?
The Star Wars gencon and Beginner box characters do not adhere to standard character creation rules. They have what they need in order to demonstrate the game to the players. I would imagine the GeneSys developers uses the same principals.
