i'm in a rut right now, it seems anything i use just end up blowing up in my face, i tried a rebel build with salvation and Sato and saw a naked VSD 1 roll 11 double hits with 17 dice(6 were red double hits), only managing 1 blank and i rolled 1 crit all game with black dice, i'm worried that i'm going to become uninterested like with X-wing

That sounds nuts. I rolled 3 straight attacks of x4 blue accuracy results at my last tournament though.
Did like 3 damage after 2 ship activations and 6 squadron attack runs.
I went home and immediately added a re-roll ability to every ship/fleet I had.
Rebels are lucky to have a lot of dice cancellation ability, and survivability enhancements. Run a Mon Mothma fleet and watch enemy dice disappear.

Man sorry to hear that! Ask anyone eho has played Armada any length of time and they will have their dice horror stories.
All that to say the universe balances out. You will have awesome rolls too. Its just a lot easier to dismiss that and focus on the bad.
Ill go on long swings where i win 10 games in a row just to go on an almost equally long loss streak where i just dont feel like I can crawl out of the hole.
When i get in that spot, i go back to familiarity. Go back to the fleets I know i play well and can play without thinking so hard. When i get out of my own heqd and just play the ship eventually rights itself.
Pick up a fleet you know, and post it here for some constructive edits, then go out and have fun until lady luck looks your way again.

But I'll add that due to similar experiences in the past, I've become very enamored of ensuring my fleet has ways to reroll dice (leading shots, ordnance experts, CF tokens, etc) and ways to cancel enemy dice (Lando I'm looking at you!).

But even that does not always cut it. I've had an MC30 Scout Frigate w/ Ackbar rolling 9 dice, of which only one turned out to do damage. And that was after rerolling the black dice with Ordnance Experts. Or my beefed up MC80 w/ Ackbar also just doing 1 damage for an entire turn - also after rerolling all of the red dice with leading shots.
Not that I have not experienced the glory of a massive damage output from the same ships - but man does it suck to experience those really extremely poor rolls D: They make a mark on your soul for quite a while :b

Yes, those experiences tend to leave a mark. But don't let them get you down! Dice karma kicks in sooner or later. ![]()
It happens, don’t let it get you down! I just played a game in which my Demo would roll 2 hits 2 blanks, reroll all of them and get 3 blanks and 1 hit... this happened three times in the same match! Definitly frustrating to say the least, but the god rolls will come too!
With various rerolls, additions, admiral etc I had a freaking single hammerhead roll 11 freaking damage on its first shot against me once! ?
It happens sometimes.
If your dice are consistently bad even after reroll upgrades (which I view as a mandatory inclusion), you could try a saltwater test on your dice. Internal air pockets seem pretty rare, but they do occasionally happen. Heck, I tested mine even though they roll normally.
