Gentlemen of the Midwest (and anyone else who likes to have fun)! I am proud to announce that on January 13th I, and many of the illustrious names from this community, will be descending upon Omaha's Sparta Games to participate in the Regionals there and to laugh, have fun, and just generally have a great time. I would love to have as many people as possible come to this event so that we can all join in the competition and merriment. Here are the official details:

I noticed that you had one in Manhattan KS as well a few weeks later, is it common to have them that close together in relatively smaller locations?

We seem to have several less than last year here in Texas area is all I was noticing.

I'm headed to both, and yeah I wish they weren't so back to back. But still I'm pumped and hope to see a lot of familiar faces/user names there :-)

I thought Tulsa had a pretty big following and KC as well, those would have been easier to get to. I'm not a fan of the ones before the new year just because things are always crazy before Christmas.

Tulsa has dried up, sadly. But yeah the KC store championship I went to a few months back was a lot of fun. But they seem stingy with Regionals, so maybe they don't want to give two so close to each other (Manhattan and KC).

That said, Omaha is going to be a blast!

Yeah the Manhattan one is an hour from me.

Last regionals (February 2017) there was the Omaha, Manhattan, and Tulsa regionals. But two of them were the same day. And the other was the next week or something. Year before (2016) I went down to Tulsa and the next week was an Omaha with no Kansas regional. And in 2015 I know only that there was a regional in Overland Park/Kansas City basically but I didn't get to play because of family stuff but I stopped by to take a peek

I was hoping MBG in KC would put in for a regional, but he didn't want to push his luck past submitting for a Destiny regional since he's a relatively new store. If he keeps getting solid attendance for kit stuff, we may be able to convince him to apply next year.

Awesome, I'd love another KS regional (especially since KC is three hours closer than Manhattan).
