How is Norra not here? She's a dead sexy Ps7.

I’m angry how long it took to scroll down the page to find this comment.

Norra is my favorite PS 7. Especially since she needs her EPT and is therefore wedded to it.

Norra is my favorite PS 7. Especially since she needs her EPT and is therefore wedded to it.

She can be pretty flexible with it, though. PS9 budget (or any Elite upgrade you want instead of PTL) Norra with Rey isn't awful, and with PTL her crew slot opens up a lot.

Well, look down the full list is below, colour-coded to my views:

Green (awesome)

Amber (okay)

Red (awful)

  • TIE Fighter
    • Mauler Mithel (Snap Shot!)
    • Scourge (Snap Shot)
    • Ashoka Tano (Veteran Instincts/Captured TIE - awesome but maybe less useful with the PS11 obsession brigade)
  • T-65
    • Jek Porkins (I like the R5-D8 interaction, but he doesn't really give you anything Targeting Astromech Hobbie wouldn't, for less points)
  • Y-wing
    • Kavil (Any turret, but especially Twin Laser Turret or Veteran Instincts/Vectored Thrusters/Autoblaster Turret)
  • TIE Advanced
    • Maarek Stele (With Advanced Targeting Computer he's okay, I guess, but Darth Freaking Vader is only 2 points more)
  • YT-1300
    • Lando Calrissian (you aren't going to spend 40+ points to give a ship chained to range 1 of you a free action when 1 point more gets you Rey)
  • Firespray
    • Kath Scarlet - Imperial (Maybe with Long Range Scanners/A Score To Settle/Agent Kallus, but even stacked gimmicks are still gimmicks)
    • Kath Scarlet - Scum & Villainy (Tail Gunner)
  • A-Wing
    • Jake Farrell - (Usually Veteran Instincts and Push The Limit or Intensity - regardless of exactly how you think intensity and his ability interact, it's still really good)
  • TIE Interceptor
    • Turr Phennir (Tends to want veteran instincts, which messes with action economy. Amazing versus lower PS pilots, but awful versus higher).
    • Tetran Cowall (Because how often does a TIE interceptor voluntarily do a red manoeuvre?)
  • HWK-260
    • Dace Bonearm (Not bad in an ion-heavy squad but the other scum HWKs are amazing and he just isn't by comparison)
  • Lambda
    • None
  • B-wing
    • Keyan Farlander (anything that causes stress. It's an amazingly flexible ability and really powerful in game)
  • TIE Bomber
    • Major Rhymer (The ability is awesome, the chassis okay, the price unjustifiable. Good with snap shot/tactician)
  • Z-95
    • N'Dru Sulhak (Lone Wolf or Fearlessness, Cluster Missiles or Cruise Missiles, and a cavalier disregard for his survival)
  • TIE Defender
    • Maarek Stele (He's PS7 for not many points. His ability is still a bit awful but he lets you get PS9 without breaking the bank. Veteran Instincts)
  • E-wing
    • None
  • TIE Phantom
    • Whisper (Veteran Instincts. Whisper is still one of the scariest things you can see if you don't fly a PS10 ship or a turret).
  • YT-2400
    • Dash Rendar (Outrider, Heavy Laser Cannon/Mangler and stuff. An amazingly powerful pilot ability)
  • VT-49
    • None
  • M3A Scyk
    • Genesis Red (Veteran Instincts. Push The Limit for cheap, on a cheap ship)
  • Starviper
    • Prince Xizor (Needs to build the squad around his ability to work. Problem is, if you want PS, take Thweek, and if you want a better dogfighter without high PS, take Guri)
  • Aggressor
    • None
  • YV-666
    • Bossk (Anything causing criticals. Guidance Chip missiles/K4 security droid is nice, but mangler cannon does in a pinch)
  • Khiraxz
    • Viktor Hel (not bad but more "I want a second PS9 Khiraxz" than someone you'd take as a first choice)
  • K-Wing
    • None
  • TIE Punisher
    • Redline (Because if you want bombs, you want Deathrain, and if you want missiles, you want TIE bombers, TIE/sf, TIE Advanced Prototypes....basically anything that's not a TIE Punisher)
  • VCX-100
    • Hera Syndulla (Not a bad ability but one of those which really demands the PS to back it up - or, ironically, the Hera Syndulla Crew card. Plus, she's not Kanan Jarrus).
  • Attack Shuttle
    • Hera Syndulla (Veteran Instincts/Autoblaster Turret - much more dangerous on a nimble little ship you can afford to lose and actually get to the same PS as the aces she can tangle with)
  • TIE Advanced Prototype
    • None
  • G-1A
    • Zuckuss (Probably the best G-1A pilot, but the G-1A is hardly the best ship).
  • Jumpmaster 2000
    • Tel Trevura (Pre-nerfing, he was a second PS9 Jumpmaster pilot. Now, without the torpedo tubes, a jumpmaster either wants to be cheap or Punishing One - and if taking Punishing One, why not shell out the extra few points for Dengar?)
  • T-70
    • Nien Numb (R3-A2, Snap Shot, Pattern Analyser - one of the best Ace-hunters of higher PS aces you can imagine)
    • Ello Asty (not bad - flight assist astromech and expertise and you can pull some serious moves on a talon roll, but there are better T-70 pilots)
  • TIE/fo
    • Omega Ace (Swarm Leader/Opportunist, Advanced Optics - dropping 3+ automatic criticals on someone is worth the investment now he can be 'stand-alone', especially with Kylo floating around)
    • Zeta Leader (Wired, Weapons Guidance - 23 points for a heavily modified 3-dice attack and a decent defence roll - not terrifying but great value)
  • ARC-170
    • Norra Wexley (C-3PO, R2-D2, Push The Limit. Die! Just DIE! one of the toughest ships in the game if you don't focus-fire her right off the bat - and rebels have the tools to stop you doing that....)
  • TIE/sf
    • Backdraft (Quickdraw is generally better, but his pilot ability makes him no slouch out of his auxiliary arc, which most TIE/sf don't get much mileage out of. He pairs amazingly well with I'll show you the dark side, and has more options than you can shake a stick at).
  • Protectorate
    • Old Teroch (Yes, he's not Fenn Rau. But his pilot ability is, in it's own way, scarier)
  • Shadowcaster
    • Ketsu Onyo (Assaj Ventress gets used more, but in a twin shadowcasters list, she's arguably more dangerous, being a tractor-token-spewing battering ram).
  • Upsilon
    • None
  • Quadjumper
    • Constable Zuvio (seems a bit of a gimmick. With Cad Bane and Bomblet Generator, might be good for a laugh, but it's not like scum lack for people capable of bomb-based shenanigans).
  • U-wing
    • None
  • TIE Striker
    • None
  • Auzituck
    • Wulfwarro (Lowwhrick's ability is just so awesome. Wulf doesn't seem bad, but he's harder to justify)
  • H-6 Scurrg
    • None
  • TIE Aggressor
    • Lieutenant Kestal (With something like expertise and a twin laser turret, she can be annoying)
  • Sheathipede
    • None
  • M-12L Kimogila
    • Dalan Oberos (Wait and see...but free target locks might make him a good hunter of large based ships who are easy to bullseye)
  • Alpha-class Star Wing
    • Major Vynder (wait and see....seems a bit of a gimmick. Never knock free green dice, and it means Vynder is tougher with reload-fire missiles, I guess)
  • TIE Silencer
    • Blackout (wait and see...I want him to work, but I might be fooling myself. Trick Shot/Collision Detector/Primed Thrusters is nice and cheap, but I'm not convinced I'll be able to keep him lined up and obstructed)
  • Resistance Bomber
    • Crimson Leader (Wait and see...but if you're only fielding one, Rattled makes bombs scarier in a faction which already has Sabine Wren, and if you have a second bomber - say Miranda doni - Ordnance Silos does a nice job making up for bomblet generator being unique).
