Weapon Skill (WS) vs. Target Defense

Melee weapon and pistol in either hand, engaged with target

Reckless Side

Special: You may use this card while recharging by adding two recharge tokens, but counting the DR of the pistol as 3, representing its use as a club rather than a firearm. You do not add your Strength to this value. This may not be done more often than every other turn.

*S* You hit with your melee weapon for normal damage
*SS* You hit with both your melee weapon and pistol. Add your Strength to the damage value of your melee weapon and also add the DR for your pistol.
*BB* +2 damage
*C* You hit a second target in the same engagement with your melee weapon for normal damage
{BB} Suffer 1 Fatigue

Conservative Side

Special: You may tuck the pistol into your belt by adding one recharge token to this card, leaving the hand free.

*S* You hit with your primary weapon for normal damage
*SSS* You hit with both your primary and secondary weapon. Add your Strength to the damage value of your melee weapon, and add to that total the DR for your pistol.
*BB* +1 damage
{BB} Suffer 1 Fatigue

Comments, suggestions?

I take it from the thundering sound of crickets that this is ready to go as-is.

I like this as it will be really useful for cavalry type warriors and highwaymen / roadwardens.

It definately fills a gap and with a set of good mounted rules will be extremely useful.

Considering the discussions we've had with RAPID FIRE and DOUBLE STRIKE, I'd consider adding a couple things (to all three cards):

* Additional purple die the 2nd attack

* Make them Rank 2 cards

..but, if you do it, you've got to do it to ALL THREE cards :)
