Anti Ace Miranda Nym

So, w/PS 9 aces like Kylo and Fenn becoming popular, here is a new take on the Mir/Nym:

Miranda Doni (49) - K-Wing
Twin Laser Turret (6), Extra Munitions (2), Sabine Wren (2), Conner Net (4), Bomblet Generator (3), Experimental Interface (3)

Captain Nym (48) - Scurrg H-6 Bomber
Veteran Instincts (1), Autoblaster Turret (2), Extra Munitions (2), Thermal Detonators (3), Thermal Detonators (3), Havoc (0), Engine Upgrade (4), Advanced Sensors (3), "Genius" (0)

Conner is two ion tokens and you skip perform action. So no repositioning, which will set up Nym to hit them with a thermal. That means next turn they do a stressed white one, meaning you know exactly where they will end up. Which means Miranda can hit them with another conner and Nym another thermal.

Autoblaster to deal w/aces, and TLT on Miranda is auto include. Versus lower PS like wookiees, only hope to live is bumping or are dodging.

Vs low PS harpoons, same deal: arc dodge or bump. Vs PS 11 alpha, I have no idea haha. Just hope you roll lucky haha.

Once you have enough ion tokens to become ionized (1 for a small or two for a large) you remove all ion tokens you have on your ship. A conner net does not ionize a small ship for two rounds.

Right, true.

But the idea is Miranda would hit them before they activate.

If that is the case, they complete the move they had on their dial, and skip their perform action step, and suffer ionization as normal next turn.

Right, so if they have boost or barrel roll they will be free to use them during the ionization turn. If you manage to get the thermal in front of them they'd be stressed but not ionized the next turn and that entire setup is pretty difficult to pull off in a match.
