Best Wingmen for Kylo?

So im looking at running...

Kylo Ren (TIE Silencer)
Push the Limit
Fire-Control System
Threat Tracker
Autothrusters
First Order Vanguard

Total = 47

But im not sure what to fly with him. Im looking at 2 Starwings initially, maybe in a control style than an outright damage style. I know alot seem to be trying to get a Decimator in there too but thats not my style, i much prefer 3 ship builds. Big Defender fan too so thats an option. Any thoughts?

I prefer mangler boats to help activate IWSYTDS, but HLC boats are scarier. (and pricier)

2 ship builds, which you are against, will likely include Oicoon, skinny RAC, and Whisper.

As far as 3 ship builds, you've got a point cap for identical generics at 26, which is enough for a pair of sienar jamus analyst with colision detector, or some Tie SFs, or Tie aggressors. Inquisitor is in that range, so is Omega Leader, and so is palp shuttle.

3 identical generics would have a point cap of 17. Tie FOs with Advanced Optics? Intel agent Tie Shuttles?

18 point Howlrunner and 3 academies is unfortunately 1 point over.

You could go with the VI version of Kylo to free up the points for Howl and Academies

Kylo w/VI, FCS, Adv Optics, Vanguard, AT = 44 pts, even leaves open 2 pts for Howl's EPT.

Another local imperial player here is hellbent on getting Kylo/QD and a scimitar TIE Shuttle with fleet officer and intel agent to work.

I think a couple of great wingmates would be a Juke/Comm Relay Omega Leader, and a Striker w/ LWF/Ailerons, - either Duchess w/ VI or Pure Sabacc w/ your choice of EPT.

3 strong flankers makes for one **** of a list to try pin down. They all have reasonable offense, but more importantly, are absurdly squirrely, and thats how they need to be flown - patient and clever. These are not jousters - you need to pick your engagements. I flew against Kylo last night and my friend tried jousting with Kylo, and he melted.

Flying Kylo with other absolutely-not-jousters is a great team.

It's probably hot garbage, but I'm going to try this:
BATMANS! (98 points)
Kylo Ren (47): PTL, AS, PA, Title, AT
Major Stridan (51): FCS, Rebel Captive, Weapons Engineer, Targeting Synchronizer, Pattern Analyzer, Title, Engine Upgrade

Stridan's pilot ability lets me use all the upgrade goodies at range 1-3 instead of having to actually be up close. FCS+WE gets me 2-4 target locks per turn, and stridan's ability and TS lets Kylo spend them to relocate via the silencer title. Pattern Analyzer and EU isn't exactly a K turn, but it lets me hard 1 the shuttle then boost the bank, which gets me around 135*. Rebel captive won't save him, but it does shut down Expertise builds, and forces people to decide between shooting him or shooting Kylo (no good choices). Being able to use Stridan's TL's for relocation and/or rerolls on attack means I can double action to focus/relocate.

Plus, everythings all black and red and evil and has absurdly big wings... I'll know how well it works after this weekend.

I've been thinking a lot lately about Accuracy Corrector TIE/SFs. A Zeta Specialist with title, AccC, and LWF is 28 points, with highly consistent dice at longer range and from rear arc, and free to save the Focus for defense without sacrificing offense.

The math works out favorably if you're saving your focus for defense or barrel rolling. A 3-dice attack with no mods is 1.5 hits on average. With a TL (say, from FCS), it becomes 2.25. With Accuracy Corrector, it's 2.125. Over two turns, on average Accuracy Corrector will do more damage than an unmodded attack, followed by against the same target with the FCS TL. This presumes you're not spending offensive focus. If you're doing that, FCS will do more damage. But AccC seems like it'll be consistent and flexible offense (for when your FCS target escapes) while keeping the dial open and spending actions defensively.

Unfortunately, two of these would only leave 44 points for a Kylo.

I guess I've just been thinking about this basic build a lot lately, and wanted a place to type it out.

I've been having a lot of fun with this list so far. Probably not the best thing to take to a tournament but enjoyable nonetheless.

Man, this would be a cool list but please don't ever fly OL this way. She has next to no bite and is even more reliant on lucky Dice rolls to push damage though. Drop the stealth device for Juke.

I'd also drop debris gambit on Kylo for VI
