My BTAvenger clearly did not enjoy Matt's double mc30S Intel officer list at all. Rebel MSUs make it sad. At least I was the other top 8 avenger list so there's that consolation.

Too true. I was solidly in the "Demolisher doesn't need a nerf" camp because so many people flew it horribly, like a wrecking ball with no finesse. The only reason it needed one in my mind was the auto-include nature of it if you were using a Gladiator. I think BT Avenger is also a lot harder because it is more susceptible to counter-attack than a last-first Demolisher. That seems counter-intuitive, but Demolisher has two dangerous arcs plus lots of maneuverability. BT Avenger has one dangerous arc, and its trick only works once.

That's a good point. The MC30 is great at dodging ISD front arcs, so maybe I'll have to dust off one of those lists for my next regional.

Definitely. I was reviewing my match with Ryan and was basically confident 2 ISDs would kill his 1 and so didnt play to minimize damage taken and maximize damage to his ISD. I was mistaken and I paid for it as he played his Avenger expertly with sloane aces and his ISD escaped on 1 hull.
