Skaven Effects Sequence Clarification

By gerson2, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

I'd like to know if I'm playing some of the Skaven cards right and using their effects properly. Here are two examples:

1) Clan Rats
Action: Corrupt this unit to have one other target Skaven unit gain P until the end of the turn.

I have two Clan Rats in the Battlefield, let's called them Clan Rats 1 (1P, 1HP) and Clan Rats 2 (1P, 1HP).
In my Battlefield phase I decide to attack my opponent's battlefield. I declare both Clan Rats as attackers.
My opponent declares a sole Greatswords (1P, 4HP) as a defender.
In the action window that follows, I corrupt Clan Rats 1 to give Clan Rats 2 one extra power and then I corrupt Clan Rats 2 to give Clan Rats 1 one extra power. They are both corrupted but since they were already declared as attackers they are allowed to continue combat.
Battlefield phase proceeds without players taking any other actions. Damage is counted. Four damage is assigned to the Greatswords and one damage is assigned to Clan Rats 1. Damage is applied.
Greatswords is detroyed. Clan Rats 1 is destroyed.

2) Poison Wind Globaldiers
Action: Corrupt this unit to deal 1 damage to one target attacking or defending unit.

I have Poison Wind Globadiers in the Battlefield.
In my Battlefield phase I decide to attack my opponent's quest zone. I declare Poison Wind Globadiers (1P, 2HP) as an attacker.
My opponent declares a sole Dwarf Miner (1P, 1HP) as a defender.
In the action window that follows, I corrupt Poison Wind Globadiers and deal one damage to the Dwarf Miner. The Dwarf Miner is destroyed, Poison Wind Globadiers is corrupted but since it was already declared as an attacker it is allowed to continue combat.
Battlefield phase proceeds without players taking any other actions. Damage is counted and one damage is assigned to the quest zone. Damage is applied. My opponent's quest zone takes one damage.

Let me know if this sequence is correct. Any feedback is welcome.

Look fine to me. Of course, why your opponent would be defending, knowing he'll lose Greatswords is another matter gran_risa.gif . Maybe you just needed a couple of points to burn the zone.

I guess it was not a good example but I can try to save it saying that he might have sacrificed the Greatswords in order to freely attack the battlefield in his next turn since both Clan Rats would be corrupted and unable to defend gran_risa.gif.

The Dwarf Miner, on the other hand, is an example I can't save. If he would have not defended the unit wouldn't be destroyed sorpresa.gif.

Stand Your Ground on the Miner to him back into play and heal 2 damage from a zone or Dwarf Ranger in QZ, zapping the other Clan Rats?

The timing is correct. As to why the Empire player would defend... most likely because he failed to account for the double boost.

If a 1 HP unit decleares attack and after in the action window globadiers activate to destroy said 1 hp attacking unit, dos the attacking unit still get to assign damage as it was decleared an attacker?

No.

If the attacking unit is not alive and still attacking during damage assignment then it does not add to the damage pool.

Thanks for the quick reply, that is what I fought but just fought I would check.
