What is the official canon for the Imperial Ranks???? (Any photos...or links...?)

As mentioned in that article, George wasn't especially concerned about making rank insigia super defined and consistent. So you got plenty of room to maneuver.

nuts.....was hopfing for a simple and easy understanding of the imperial army ranks......just like the royal englisch or german armies....oh well. thanks!!

...how about the STORMTROOPERS....did their ranks have anything?...such as sergeant or corporal ranks?...and how displayed on the uniform or body armour?

It says lower in the article the article posted. It even mentions Storm trooper captains, and storm trooper officers in general that we may/probably see in the movies.
