Hope does not lie with Scum. Lots of pierce with Rebels, and you can only tap zillo once. I like my chances.

Imperials have plenty of pierce to do with Imperials. Vader, Terro, Dewbacks, Sentry Droids, BT-1, 000, Agent Blaise, and the ATDP to name a few.

Vader is a tough nut that requires a lot of firepower to break through. He definitely cements the need for 3 dice figures in every list, but he's not invincible. Kiting, stunning, and concentrated fire are your friends.

I won my last game against vader by ignoring him. Kill everything else in their list, expect to lose a few figures of your own, and win on objectives. Helps to stay out of range so he has to force choke, but that's not always feasible.
