Toxic Clouds

So, my campaign is a homebrew setting, a good Second Galactic Empire supported by a Jedi Order, set a thousand years after the New Jedi Order novels. The main enemy is the Ubese (and their backers, a sect of Dark Jedi called the Tomat). Well, I want to beef up the Ubese mooks a little bit (while still keeping them firmly as minions) and add a touch of realism. Ubese breathe a "Type II" atmosphere, basically representing the toxic, radioactive soup their atmosphere became after the Old Republic spanked them for building nuclear and chemical weapons. So I'm thinking that there's a chance, upon defeating an Ubese, that their environment suit ruptures and this rank stuff starts spilling out, creating a hazard for the characters.

I'm just not sure how to go about it. Thoughts?

3 threat / despair has the PCs rupture the suit hard enough for an environmental hazard to happen, which could give 2 setback dice for any action for maybe 1 or 2 turns?
