X-Wing Regionals Vancouver, BC - Feb 10-11- Wet Coast

Hi there,

I organize Wet Coast (www.wetcoastgt.com) and we are running a Regional on Feb 10-11 in Richmond BC at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel (just outside of Vancouver, BC with free shuttle from the airport).

The tournament will be a two-day affair and will have a capacity of 120 participants. The tournament will run for 6 rounds of 75 minutes (1 hour, 15 minutes) each. There will be a cut after this and for those that are eligible, they will play on the second day. The cut is a top 8 for 76 players or less, top 16 for 77-120 players. (ie using the Advanced Structure from the Tournament Regulations packet)

Lists are 100 points total.

Your ticket entry includes some swag items for everyone and eligibility for some raffle prizes.

Any players who did not make the cut we will have secondary tournaments on the second day. These will have acrylic awards and swag for top placement.

Schedule:

Saturday, February 10th, 2018

  • 8:30am-9:30am – Check In
  • 9:30am-10:45am – Game 1
  • 11:00am-12:15pm – Game 2
  • 12:15pm – 1:30pm – Game 3
  • 1:30pm – 2:30pm – Lunch
  • 2:45pm – 3:00pm – Game 4
  • 3:15pm – 5:30pm – Game 5
  • 5:45pm – 7:00pm – Game 6
  • Appropriate swag for placement will be given out for all but the cut (Top 8/16 as outlined above), raffle prizes will be drawn

Sunday, February 11th, 2018

For Top 8/16 cut:

  • 9:00-9:30am – Check In
  • 9:30am-10:45am – Game 1
  • 11:00am-12:15pm – Game 2
  • 12:15pm-1:15pm – Lunch
  • If Top 8: 1:15pm-3:15pm – Game 3
  • Else Top 16: 1:15pm-2:30pm – Game 3
  • Top 16: 2:45pm-4:45pm – Game 4
  • Results will be immediately following the finals game

For 8-man scrambles on day 2:

  • 9:00-9:30am – Check In
  • 9:30am-10:45am – Game 1
  • 11:00am-12:15pm – Game 2
  • 12:15pm-1:15pm – Lunch
  • 1:15pm-3:15pm – Game 3
  • Awards immediately following the finals game

We've gotten a bunch of plastic Miranda Doni cards and a lot of backstabber promo cards for the scrambles on day 2 for those that don't make the top 8/16 cut.
