Hearing the gun shot he would look to Hetaera who had just shot the final Duros, standing to look at what happened he saw that the boy was alive, " Good ssshot, kid." He growled approvingly as he patted her shoulder. Walking over to Giz whom had started to interrogate the sod Usshkr collected himself and put on his best scowl, stood behind Giz and made sure the Duros could stare up at the Trandoshan who had just taken out five of his friends. Usshkr cracked his neck just as he had done with his claws earlier the sound seemed to be effective at scaring his opponents.

"Thanks!" Hetaera looks like she is about to fall over, but she manages to raise the heavy blaster, and blow out dramatically, as though blowing out a candle. "I'm still hot."
The Duros would moan slightly as he rolls over to look up at his attackers. 'Alright! Alright! Here, take this, just don't kill me!' With that he would reach into his jacket pocket and produce a holo-communicator. 'It's got the frequency programmed in alright, just let me go'. He was badly injured, but seemed to be clinging onto life.
When her friends (friends..? well.. a lot has happened, and fast); When her friends are finished with the Duros, Het musters the strength to saunter back over to the captive Duros. There has been enough death here, today.. simple heist, huh?
"We're going to tell your bosses you talked. I'll do you the favor of telling them you're dead, too. I suggest you stay that way, honey."
Raising the heavy blaster, she shoots him in the face. The Duros turns an even sharper shade of blue as the charged particles overload his nervous system.
"Let's get out of here. We can ditch this guy in an alley somewhere."
(I can roll for this, if you need me to, of course.
"Well, guess that's all for now," Jace said when the Duros got a face full of stunning shot. "Shame, would have liked to use the old 1-2-3. Never thought you'd be that convincing, Giz."
As he picks up a energy pack to replenish the one in his heavy blaster that ran out in combat, he takes a deep breath to get a hold of himself before talking to the rest of the group.

"We survived with quite a bit of firepower and got an idea of where to go next. We'll need a new place soon, though; this one's been burnt. Any ideas?"
Edited by satkazLooking back up, she catches a couple questioning looks. "What?!"
"If you wanna ask him his favorite color, we can take him with us.. But speaking for myself, at least, I think it's time to go."
Usshkr didn't question the move, he would have broken the Duro's arms but thus would do. He passes Hetaera and Jace picks up the unconscious Duros and finds the closest dumpster. Opening the dumpster he took some of the bags out dumped the Duros and then buries him under the bags he removed. He gave the blaster on the Duros to Shura, and pocketed the knife for himself.

"Hettie and I still have an apartment. We could all bunk there for now," Shura offered, "There's not much space, but I figure it will do until we find someplace that's better....Unless, of course, you already have someplace better in mind."
Edited by AdvocatXDUsshkr looks down at Shura as she mentions the apartment, confused because she should know how small it is " Sshura the apartment doesssn't have much sspace for the three of usss, where are they going to sssleep? The floor?"
"No, that'll be fine for now," Jace replied. He really didn't have any idea where to bunk aside from the bar Leto worked...and that was a rather poor spot for a bunch of people to continually live in.
"I don't mind. I've slept in worse. And as for our friend left there...just leave him."
Killing him now is a mercy in this place, I would think.
First off, though...
" Wonder if there was some sort of tracker somewhere? I mean, I'm sure we covered our tracks well."
Edited by satkaz"Our place it is, then. It will have to suffice, for now.. but we can't have them tracking us there."
Het joins the search for any hidden gizmos might be used to track them. Grateful to lean against the crate, as the fear and rush of combat fades, the Twi-lek uses her delicate fingers to feel along the inside of the packaging material. Detecting something, she peers inside, and spies a tiny red flashing light.
"Hey Giz, what's this blinky thing here?"
Jace takes a look around the boxes while Hetaera looks below the speeder truck.
At first glance, nothing seems to be out of place.
Of course they wouldn't have it out here so easily. Might check the padding around the boxes, it could be hidden there.
Jace checks the box with the carbines first. He takes out the remaining carbines and goes through their padding.
"Looks like I found a tracker. Seems to be the same as what you have, Het."
Shura searches for more trackers and finds one in another box.
"Did we get them all?" she asks.
Edited by AdvocatXDAfter a little more searching, it was discovered that there were no other trackers to be found by the battered party. It made sense really, a courier service that works in the underbelly of Nar Shaddaa would be foolish to not have a backup plan in case of theft such as this.
However, these Duros were not members of the courier service. Or at least if they were, they had not worked there while Usshkr had been a part of the business. It was reasonable for the locals to assume that they had been members of the Duros gang who run the sector, the same ones who had come under fire from the Ganks. What could they want with such heavy duty hardware though? They are gangsters, not soldiers, and as far as the gang knew, Jaizon had never been an openly violent leader despite his lieutenants actions. What was he planning?
In the mean time, it was time for the gang to leave. This property was aflame and filled with bodies. It would only attract something bigger and more dangerous. It was time to head to somewhere safe where they can plot their next move, if there was one.
The crew consolidates the heist's score into their truck, also loading whatever they can quickly salvage from their ruined base.
Hopping behind Shura, on her bike, she clings tight. "Follow us!" Tilting her head, thoughtfully, she adds: "And please do catch a ride this time, Usshkr." Poor guy looks like I feel.
Jace helps load the boxes up on Giz's truck before hopping into the passenger side of the truck.
"An apartment, huh? Well, I don't mind sleeping on the floor. Not like I haven't done it before. You?"
Edited by satkazUsshkr went up to and sat behind Giz and Jace in the truck. " If you losse the Girlsss I know the way." He growled behind them. " But try and not lossse them."
The drive across the sector would be uneventful as most drives in this area were. Although the day was in full swing there was barely anyone outdoors. Unemployment was high in the sector, and those that did work were stuck in factories and such, or were criminals. Those that were above (or below) the law were all lying low with the recent attack still.
After half an hour drive or so they finally reached the apartment block. It was a dingy affair as most were down this low in the planet. The tower stretched further than the eye could see, but the tower had been split between the different levels. In a way it symbolised the hierarchy that made up the planet. The tubolifts down here stopped well before the halfway mark.
Passing through the corridors of the building the gang would see a few residents here and there. Most of them looked as shady and dingy as the building itself. They paid little to no attention to the newcomers. Most had they own business and problems to worry about.
Near by the apartment the door to the Duros lab would slide open again. The guard would poke his head through, glancing at the work that Dastha had been at. 'Alright, time to knock of the day. Get some rest and be up early tomorrow. You've still got to meet your quota'.
With that he would disappear down the ill lit corridor leaving the lab door unlocked. Dashtha had been staying in a empty bunk room in the complex for her time here. She hadn't seen sunlight for longer than was probably healthy. There was a narrow window set high in the wall int he bunk room, but that was about it. It was trick yto say where she even was, or what was going on in the world outside. How long could she put up with this before snapping or trying to bust out?
Edited by RabobankriderAnyone else would break under these conditions. But for Dashtha it was about the work. All about the work. Even trying to sleep she was repeating compound chain sequences in her head. She was close. So close. Her revolutionary spice strain would be the only one people would need. She'd then have all the funding she ever need to move on to her next great project. Everyone needs a focus after all. ....... Oh and she could help her family and spice addicts and such. That would be a nice by-product.
"Welcome!" Hetaera gestures expansively at the small apartment, then lets her arms fall to her sides so the others can actually file in behind her.
One side of her room consists entirely of her unmade bed, with in an incongruously luxurious comforter, and a few plush pillows on top. Against the other wall stands a tall wardrobe, and a large trunk with an accordion setting on top. There is also a small desk with a mirror, the only well-lit spot in the room. An assortment of makeup, perfume, and costume jewelry is strewn carelessly across the top.
Lastly, there is a daybed along the far wall, probably not originally intended for a sleeping Trandoshan. A doorway covered by a vividly colored beaded curtain, leads to a very small kitchen area, with an adjacent refresher. From the shared space, another doorway presumably leads to Shura's room.
"Usshkr has his spot.. Shura and I can bunk-up, for the time being.. You guys will need to share a bed, or use the floor, if you'd prefer."
Usshkr waits for everyone to file in the goes straight for the bed and collapses. " Yesss my Ssspot. The couch isss alssso mine." He points to the couch that was sitting near a holovid player and small screen. The couch itself looks ragged and worn much like its owner, though it looked better than Usshkr at the moment. " it wass a bargain fifty creditsss."
Shura immediately steps into the refresher to take off her Nautolan disguise and fetch some medical supplies for Usshkr. Shura did not have any medical experience, but she attempted to stabilize him. She didn't like Usshkr much, but she knew she could count on him to protect Hettie. And Shura had to admit, he was pretty tough...for an old guy.
Eventually, despite Usshkr's criticisms, Shura successfully stabilizes his wounds.
Edited by AdvocatXDWashing off whatever disguise was left, Jace saw Usshkr badly wounded.
"Been a long time since I've been here, but I remember there was a pharmacy somewhere where we shouldn't run into much trouble. Think it was south of here? I don't remember. Anyway, looks like we'll need to patch up before anything else."
Hetaera finishes up scrubbing away the blue, returning her complexion to its natural coloration: palest lavender, with darker freckles on her cheeks, shoulders, and lekku. Garbing herself in a short robe, she rejoins her mates.
"So.. We've taken our first shipment, taken down a team of their thugs.." She glances about, unsure of their next move? "I'm thinking we got lucky, out there. Maybe something a bit less.. well, less like a frontal assault, next time?" Het considers. "Word on the street is, they've got their own pet chemist tucked away around here, somewhere..?"
(Flip a destiny point for that tidbit, maybe move us in the right direction, expedite introductions?)
@Rabobankrider @SithArissaExhausted, Hetaera tries to rest for a while, but awakens after only a short while. Deciding to make good on her idea, she dresses herself and heads out into the perpetual gloom of Nar Shaddaa. Usshkr will be furious, but he is in no condition to be protecting anyone at the moment. And a Twi-lek in company with a Trandoshan may arouse unwanted attention, just now, in this district. Nevertheless, she scrawls down the location of the club, before quietly slipping out of the tenement.
The Dark Melody was not quite Hettie's usual type of haunt, catering to a brooding local clientele, but she did have an appreciation for the dark, mesmerizing musical selection. The tapcafe hosted a small dance floor, which she generally had to herself, on her infrequent visits. This was where she had overheard a hushed conversation extolling a new product created by the Duros' druggist.
She has a drink, and dances to a particularly hypnotic nocturne, before retiring to the bar for a bite to eat. She makes small talk with the keep, until the conversation inevitably turns to the Duros. Big happenings in the neighborhood, lately, it would seem.
"Quite, quite. But I'm more interested in enjoying my meal, here, at the moment.. Speaking of.. Twi-lek cuisine is all fungus, lichen, moss.. a girl could positively starve. And it's just so bland. I like things hot. Word is, there's a chef around here with some new recipes.. likes to spice things up a bit? I like that."
Careful not to pry too hard, she tries to glean more information about the enterprising new chemist they are seeking, and where they might find her.
