Will there be a special/collector's edition produced? If so I would like to register interest for one right now! Will go nicely with both my Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy Collector's editions.

There will definitely be a collector's edition. I will purchase a copy, so that it can sit alongside my CE Rogue Trader.

Rumor has it that the special edition comes with your very own geneseed and power armour.

I can't remember what they had in them, but they were a very limited thing, with most (if not all) being sold out BEFORE the games were even released. If you wanted your LGS to get a copy, you'd need to get them to order for you if you didn't want to order from this website itself when its announced.

As for me, I definitely want the Collector's for this, I missed out for Rogue Trader because of money issues, but I should hopefully be fine this time round.

I wonder if they might go BIGGER on this one! I love my RT collectors edition. I'm willing to $400 (like for LOTR Collectors Edition) for a CRAZY DW Collectors edition. Give me a leather bound book with armor bolted on and steel aquila wraping around it... throw in something really cool and I'm sold 100%. As long as what I'm getting is worth it I'm willing to spend a lot on some awesome stuff.

Count me in for a SE, though. The only trick is to watch these forums for updates regularly. The RT special edition was announced within a month or so of the RT forum opening, so there will be announcements soon... Watch this space!

I'll be picking one up. Hopefully the packaging isn't as shoddy as the RT box.

I will propably be picking up the SE as well. After seeing how nice the other 2 se's were and missing out on them I am forsure getting one of these.

I'm not interested enough for a CE. I'll buy the regular edition just to round out my set.

I won't be buying, but I also didn't purchase the SE of RT or DH.

I only managed to get one RT, and didn't get to name mine.... =( I failed to get a DH and am in fact still seeking one, but am leery of the $900 price tag the ones you can find online carry. Worried it will be beat up in some way making it a less than worth it purchase.

I will get to name my Marines and there will be two.

I certainly hope there will be a CE for Deathwatch to go alongside the CE copies I have of Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader. For actual gaming purposes I will likely end up picking up at least two copies of the SE of Deathwatch, one for myself and one to let folk in my gaming group borrow during sessions.

Hopefully if there is to be a CE, details will be announced soon. If the process will go anything like it did for Rogue Trader's CE pre-orders will likely start up well in advance of the actual street date. Naturally I will be keeping a close eye on the site in anticipation of such news and information.

Tried to find the DH one but couldn't

There is one on Ebay relisted time and again at $895.

I won't pay that much. I will however crack out $500 like its going out of style if I can find one for that.

I think FFGs should capitalise on the current 3D craze, and make the rulebook have 3D text, with glasses included (maybe moulded into a space marine helmet).
