Because we live so far apart me and my players have been using Roll20 for the past year and it's working fine. I really like the fact that I can play music and/or soundeffects while we play but I'm trying to go a bit further. I can't alter my voice much and I'm terrible with accents. Does anyone know any program or software in which you can alter your voice, add filters or something like that? My first bet was some music-editing program but it doesn't seem that there's much I can use from there besides from some echo-effect...
Altering voice software?
You usually have a vocoder function or autotune you can use for droids or the melodic stuff for aliens with sing song language like ithorians or the polis massan who have vocal chords.
If you have something like ableton live a professional music program, you have weird stuff usually used for cutting up drums for aphex twin stuff but i imagine it could create some weird stuttering for damaged droids, corrupted A.I.'s speech impediments or to create a weird alien language you can subtitle, etc.
Sound bee i think is what order 66 mentioned

This is just anecdotal, but don't bother with voice changing software. From the few instances I have been involved in, the gimmick gets very old very VERY quickly.

There is a professional version too. I haven't tried either but these were recommended by the order 66 podcast a while ago.
