App does not account for credit-giving supply crates?

By Jacda, in Imperial Assault Campaign

I've just played the tutorial mission and, whilst very impressed, was wondering if anyone else has encountered this potential issue.

During the tutorial I opened a Supply Crate and found ' Valuable Goods ' inside which states:

"Discard this card at the end of the mission to receive 100 credits"

However, upon completing the tutorial it seems the app has no mechanism for this. Credits are assigned to your party by the app regardless of any cards you may have accumulated.

Can anyone confirm this is the case? It may well be covered in the rules and I've missed it.

Also, first post! Woo!

First off, welcome! :)

Secondly, there's a small line somewhere in the Legends of the Alliance rules that says that you should discard cards like valuable goods, chance cubes, etc. from the supply deck before you start. I don't remember the full list, but open up the rules pdf and do a search on "valuable goods" - you should find it pretty quickly.

1. Prepare Supply: Place the dice, Condition cards, and the
damage, strain, and condition tokens within easy reach of
all players. Place the Reference cards within easy reach of all
players. Remove the cards "Valuable Goods," "Troop Data,"
and "C1 Comlink" from the Supply card deck and return them
to the game box. Then shuffle the Supply deck and place it
facedown in reach of all players.
-- If players have already incorporated the Jabba's Realm or
Twin Shadows expansions, they should also remove the
"Pit Droid" and "Chance Cubes" Supply cards, respectively.

Thanks for this - I'm glad to see it's just an oversight on my part.

Back to the campaign!

I also got rid of the Power Generator from Hoth when I drew it.

Discard this card and a crate token in your play area while attacking. Apply +2 damage and Pierce 2 to the attack results.

I mean I guess you could leave it in and just ignore the "crate token in your play area" part, but I figured that since it was probably balanced around losing the 50 credits that it was better to just draw another card.

Technically you still claim the crate token when you interact with it per the RRG. So actually Power Generator is way better in the app than in the real campaign since you're not actually spending 50 credits to use it.

Thank you. I thought I was going mad. Started playing this last night and am addicted.

The rules tells you to remove some supply cards, however I found that the list is limited to the core. You'll find that supplies from expansions will have supply cards that following the same reasoning have to be excluded because you can't apply or keep track of effects. Those are all the ones about companions and credits.

Read the next bullet point and you see the supply cards from the expansions mentioned.

You could still include the Pit Droid, as he's Useful in other ways than Shiny .
