Am I wrong on thinking that you can use both abilities and resolve the ring effect twice?

Ok, that’s what I thought, but just wanted to see if I oversaw some rule.

I pulled this yesterday and managed to resolve the Earth Ring twice. That 4 card swing was brutal (specially against crab), so seemed kinda OP. But I guess is just a one-time situation, and it won’t happen so often.
