A bit confused here, though I admit I haven't completely read the rulebook yet, but I have skimmed it trying to find an answer...the game components state that there are 35 SPECIAL tokens (five of each type) but the box has an extra five: S, P, I, A, L. Does the game's rules require the use of these extra five tokens in some way? Are they simply extras? Is the starting SPECIAL pool supposed to be randomized (so the distribution of the various letters isn't always equal)?

Apparently there are SPECIAL tokens unique to each of the five characters, and that they start with it in play.

Mods, you can delete this thread at your leisure, as I have answered my own question born through lack of reading.

Don't feel bad. I was confused by them at first as well. I had them all mixed up together.
