By Thrindal, in Star Wars: Armada

So the production page updated today, no change on the English page but for giggles I checked the french page and....

Their "On the Boat" or being "Transported"?

Now this did update to arrival in 2018 as well but what does it mean?

Edited by Thrindal

Hmm could be a Jan release then........

They also have the previews in french if you click on the ship, amazing!

"What did you do Ray?!?"

Maybe they're punishing us for calling them out on the lack of updates. Maybe they're Coneheads. Either way it's a Dan Aykroyd reference.

If I had more faith in their logistics folks I would think they scatter all these bits and pieces around for folks to hunt for.

I don’t really see anything new. It lists the contents of the box but that’s about it.

well, because of grammar, there could be some more words in the preview images in french that would fill the covered bits in english

They aren't on the boat... they are on the TRUCK! maybe faster that way?

Careful.

If that was truly the case, (and information for the US Side, of course), the insinuation of that is that they've already gone "on the boat", because "on the boat" is from China to the Warehouse.

"On the Truck" is from Warehouse to Distributors, which would mean a release in two weeks or so.

Probably a pretty long drive from China to the US, and wet.

I thought I'd use US spelling so people would understand ;)

I ran the MC75 text through the Google translator. There is at least a hint to some upgrade slots...

"The MC75 cruiser represents the first generation of warships that the Mon Calamari took off to escape the Imperial occupation of their home oceanic planet. At the base intended for passenger transport and even civic actions, these ships are armed with a formidable mix of turbolasers, ion guns and proton torpedoes. Among the first of this class, the Profundity , commanded by Admiral Raddus, is the stronghold of the Rebel Alliance.
This package includes everything you need to add 1 MC75 Cruiser to your games."

I assume "proton torpedoes" should be Ordinance.

Yeah I expect at least one of the variants to have an upgrade bar similar to the ISD Kuat Refit, and the other variant to have an upgrade bar similar to an ISD 1 or VSD 2.

What's interesting to me about the possibility of an ordnance upgrade is that it doesn't seem to have any black dice on its side arc. That means that APT and ACM are less useful because you won't benefit twice when you double arc. Unless you bring Sato of course!

Isn't that the same text from the Spanish preview? I don't think it has anything to do with the in-game representation of the ship, so much as the in-universe specs.

If anything, that's less information than the English statement:

"With its powerful ship and cunning commander, the Profundity Expansion Pack for Star Wars™: Armada lends new hope to the rag-tag Rebel fleet. Its miniature pre-painted MC75 star cruiser boasts an impressive array of weapons, armor, and shields, and it comes with two ship cards and fourteen upgrades that feature Admiral Raddus, Jyn Erso, and other notable characters from Rogue One. Together, these crew members and the Profundity Title upgrade allow you to make a wide range of clever adjustments to your overall strategy."
