Have you tried the 2 turn? I think you'll find that you have so many angles, you don't need to.

Put him out in the middle and run that 2 turn after an AS Boost and/or BR, good gravy.

There are so many places you can go where you can't get shot unless they do some stress giving move. It's hard to visualize because where you can be is just so crazy. Here's the 2 turn probability cloud for anything moving before kylo:

I get that this is a lot of space, but consider that:

-Asteroids will constrict some part of that.

-Some targets will be priority targets, and their position will define where useful Kylo positions will be.

-most PS11 ships that matter will have some modest reposition of their own

I see Kylo played super dodgy against higher PS ships as one of two results:

1.) He doesn't get quality shots, but doesn't get shot. Probably less than ideal for a 50 point ship.

2.) He exchanges shots, which might be okay, but might not.

Since he can't token up like the other Imperial Aces, his extra actions beyond Focus are either used offensively (TL) or for position (BR/Boost). So if you don't get a good position, it pretty much sucks.

That means a stressed Kylo where you suspect a 2turn will be hurt a lot with 4 dice.

My computer just crashed because the maps are getting to complicated......

Try making each map be limited to a specific bearing maneuver. That would give more useful information showing where you could end up with X maneuver locked in.

If Kylo goes right* in any green movement:

Superimposed is a large ship with range 1 - it can shoot literally every end position, or blocks Kylo.

In short, Rey/Dengar will get their 4dice attack and do damage.

Definitely easier to visualize in smaller chunks.

Oh, misread. Yes, don't do more than one maneuver or it's a mess.

Ah, this reminds me so much of the good old days of using an IG-88 with advanced sensors (predator variant)! Of course back then, people used to play RAC with rebel captive to shut down my fancy manoeuvers. Guess this could happen here too.

You misunderstand - getting blocked on the large base is a feature, not a bug. You've already taken your actions, just get your arc pointed where you want it.

Asteroids remove significantly less options than I expected. Obviously Silencers aren't going to come in and break the game, but even with large rocks all over the board I've had no trouble decloaking advanced sensor getting to wherever I want. But yes, Kylo is very bullyable. You can control where he moves, because he's not a turret. Hopefully it's enough that he's fun to play against.

You can't AS PTL into a talon roll or k-turn. You can only do one of the 2 repositions.
