I have a list that I fancy giving a go with this: Hammerheads with External Racks and Leia are nasty at close range, but with Intensify Firepower, that's five auto-damage per turn as the close as well. And as we know with bombers, single hits may not seem like a big worry in themselves, but they soon add up.

This looks much better than yesterdays variant, looks disturbingly competitive.

Switch Comms Net for Ashoka. Or skip Raymus for Vet Cap if you want to be stingy. Turn 2, use round 1s banked token. Turn 3, use vet caps. Round 4 discard.

Edit: which frees the pelta up to run squad duties.... especially if it takes FCT.

It's the same sort of natural counter to Large ships as Cracken. You get one good shot at the target, then it's in the wind. Sometimes you get lucky and kill it, but more often than not you're wasting your time, because even if you kill one, trading anything short of three for an ISD is the definition of a losing proposition. I'm curious to see how many World Cup fleets are variants on it and how well they do.
