Powered Exoskeletons

I'm thinking of something similar to Iron Man's suit. What do you think would be the best way to portray a setting where most of the characters' capabilities are tied to high-tech exoskeletons? It would obviously be partly Sci-Fi (and a little bit Weird War), but I'm a bit uncertain on how to handle the actual powered armor aspect.

There's a few examples of power armour (and armour which lets you fly) spread across the Star Wars books, might be worth a look to see how they handled it mechanically.

Have you read my Fallout theme, complete with rules for power armor?

Could it be useful for Power Rangers as well or do you think in the case of our morphing heroes, that their morphing devices should rather grant the boons?

If you’re looking for augmenting armour, there are a few examples in the book. Admiral Arthur’s Astounding Amplimotive Armor on page 155 (Steampunk setting) Def 1, +2 Soak, enc 3, 1,250, rarity 9, also boosts both Brawn and.Silhouette by 1. If you don’t want the steampunk aesthetic, remove the +1 Silhouette.

On the very next page is the Aeropack : enc 5, 1,000 cost, and rarity 7 gear that allows you to fly (see page 100, it says).

Also on page 178, the Exosuit Trooper (Rival) has an exosuit (+1 def, +2 soak, +1 Brawn, +4 WT, underwater/vacuum use up to 1 hr). No price or encumbrance, though, but a good template to use nonetheless.

Lastly, Elite Shock Armor on page 186. +1 def, +2 soak, enc 5, 4,000 price, rarity 6; +1 Brawn and +5 encumbrance capacity.

I have not (not a Fallout fan), but I will take a gander.

Good question. The setting I'm thinking of is based off of Bubblegum Crisis, which is like a cyberpunk version of a super sentai/Power Rangers story.
