Game Master's Toolkit Question

By djpeterso23662, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I apologize if this question has been asked previously: Does the WFRP3 Game Master's Toolkit include a GM screen? My impression is that 1) I assumed it did because of the similar products for DH, RT, etc, 2) the product description specifies a 48-page booklet, a sheet of counters, cards, and a new organization worksheet. The on-line catalog description conspicuously omits the screen.

On the other hand, the January 15 product announcement included mock-up images of both the product box and the GM screen, and said that the large, full-color screen is "one of the key features" of the toolkit. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

Thanks!

Yes, the Game Master's Toolkit includes a sturdy, full colour, double-sided, four-panel GM screen.

It is made of nice, thick stock, like the popular Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader screens.

The description has been updated to clarify this.

Thank you very much for the reply. The new wording clears up my point of confusion nicely. And I am really, really looking forward to having the screen when I run WFRP3!

My question is ... is it thick like the Dark Heresy, or thick like the Rogue Trader? AFAIK they are different thicknesses. DH is closer to 'typical' GM screen thickness, and while good quality, is not as sturdy as the RT screen. The RT screen is close to boardgame board thickness, again with excellent quality. I'm sure it will be excellent either way (as both DH and RT screens are very nice) but I personally prefer the thicker RT screen.

The newer Dark Heresy screen is identical to the Rogue Trader screen in thickness and quality (I know - I'm looking right at it).

If he's saying the screen is like those of DH/RT, I'm gonna assume he means the newer style thick/sturdy screen - which, in my opinion, are the best in the biz.

Now if there was any way to get that bad-boy into stores this weekend....

Great news - the old description on the site had me wondering as well. Thanks for clearing this up so quickly.

Now, about all those action card questions? gui%C3%B1o.gif
