Flesh rippers and immobilize

By Xquer, in Runewars Rules Questions

What is the interaction with flesh rippers and immobilize?

1) Immobilize is suppose to trigger when someone "reveals" a movement, does this still count for the mandatory movement on the unit card?

2) if you cancel the first move with the bane, can you still trigger Dead Sprint on if a second movement was dialed in?

The shift or march has to be on the command tool to be canceled by the Immobilize token, so no, the mandatory movement on the unit card cannot be canceled by the Immobilize token.

Thanks, always good to get confirmation, been making too many mistakes lately. :P

So far this one actually has a rather expansive ruleset.

Phone likely corrected wrong, seen now.

Yup immobilize is strictly the dial nothing else.

If you get a free march/shift outside of the dial immobilize cant touch it.

Not sure why they did it that way but least it clear.

So Immobilize isn't completely crippling to a dynamic game. Every strategy needs counterplay.

This game only gets counter play if you have a large enough counter. 6'x3' of counter space is hard to come by :P
