Looking at having a try at a Defenders of the Empire campaign at our club.
I've seen a few threads on recommended builds for Heroes of the Aturi Cluster, but Defenders of the Empire is a slightly different animal because you don't have 'your ship' - your ship is provided courtesy of the Imperial Navy and can vary mission to mission, equipped with gear from an unlocked 'armoury'.
The ability to chop and change your ships is nice, but also means you should focus on stuff which supports whatever chassis you need to fly on a given day (you're also locked into a TIE fighter for the first 4 missions...
At the same time, the Imperial pilots have some amazing abilities, and the synergies between them when you've got access to EPTs on ships that wouldn't normally have them, or a pilot ability on a much better chassis than normal, is amazing.
Has anyone got any especially good builds to talk about?

A lot of the 'cheap', lower PS pilot abilities on TIE fighters and TIE/fo fighters are amazing.
- Wampa
- Epsilon Ace
- Night Beast
- Dark Curse
I can see Night Beast & Countess Ryad being a faintly ridiculous combination. For maximum giggles, combine with a Twin Ion Engines MkII/Engine Upgrade TIE striker.....
