Thats alot of guaranteed Evades

True but Countess usually gets shot from multiple ships

Countess isnt that great at dancing in asteroid fields. X7s are already predictable because of the speed requirement for the evade. You would be adding a card that says where you will want to go most of the time. "Im going to try to be close to an asteroid and illl move at speed 3+. Thats a lot of free info for your opponent.

For the points she costs, Countess needs to be able to participate offensively. For that reason alone i believe PTL+mk7 is better on her.

Vessery on the other hand doesnt mind using his action defensively. He has his free TL most of the time. He would still not be that great at triggering Gambit though.

With as many greens as Countess has, why not use Experimental Interface instead of Stealth and get focus/evade/evade/evade?

Would rather just put intensity on her... potentially less evades but a barrel roll and not dependent on obstacles.

Also note the card says "to a maxium of 2 evade tokens"

not assign a maximum of 2 evade tokens.

So as i read it you cant have more then 2 evade tokens.
