To Silence the crowd in a pint game.....can they?

By clanofwolves, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Just for funzies; and I have't pre-ordered even one Silencer or anything....

(36) TIE Silencer "Blackout" PS7 (31): Trick Shot (0), Collision Detector (0), Autothrusters (2), Title (2), Primed-Thrusters (1)

(33) TIE Silencer "Sienar" PS4 (26): Fire Control Systems (2), Autothrusters (2), Title (2), Primed-Thrusters (1)

(15) TIE/FO "Epsilon Squadron Pilot" PS1 (15)

(15) TIE/FO "Epsilon Squadron Pilot" PS1 (15)

The First Order Vanguard title for silencers is unique, so you'll probably want to keep it on Blackout and fit in 2 more points elsewhere. You could fit in advanced sensor on Blackout or look at different tech cards. It should be fun to fly at the least. You could even do a 3 silencer list pretty easily if that floats your boat.

Lol I just brainstormed that same Blackout build. I like it in regards to "Holy $#!+ can that thing roll some dice," but it has very few mods, which makes me hesitant to fly it. I considered Expertise/Adv. Sensors to allows still for some obstacle avoidance, but also for attack mods.

Overall, I like the concept. Frankly, I like lists with lots of generics. But F/O are still kinda underwhelming. Not bad, but, not overly strong.

This I didn't know....why would a Title be unique?!? Dumb. Anyway, I see your clear correction, thanks. I didn't purchase HOR, so I didn't have Primed Thusters, but I liked the concept very much. I can see those working great with low PS TIEs. So, if I break down and actually purchase two of these expensive things, I'd have four copies, and I think they are very good for the cost of one SP.

I've actually found having one or two of these PS 1s are actually fantastic as they never get blocked and can jam up areas and ships even with their threat of a block after the initial engagement where your opponent is like, "crap, am I ever going to get an action?" Anyway, it's flying style I guess.

With that in mind, a slight and very simple alteration to this FO list; what do you guys think:

(36) TIE Silencer "Blackout" PS7 (31): Trick Shot (0), Collision Detector (0), Autothrusters (2), Title (2), Primed-Thrusters (1)

I'd boost Primed to Pattern Analyzer. Other than that, I think it could work! The only way to find out is to fly
