This is a question that comes up a lot around my gaming community:

Can you use C-3PO's Action to Resolve one of Poe2's Dice as a Special, (getting a Shield) and then turn the other Poe2's Dice to a Special and then Resolve THAT die? Chaining out Specials?

No your action was NOT resolve specials it was the card action attached to 3P0 which tells you to resolve 1 die as if it were showing any side. You only get to resolve 1 die and your action is done.

Yes. 3PO lets you resolve one dice and that's it. Any cards that lets you resolve a dice works the same way.

You can chain specials if the 'focus' effect is a special, e.g. you can use a Datapad to turn something to a special, then resolve the special.

If your playing poe2 with rey2 or any other blue character force focus in the new luke starter is gonna be 1 of his new best friends for chaining specials

Yes, Force Focus will be killer as will Aayla for chaining of specials.

I have been using Datapad for this. Although it is not as reliable with one side, you might be able to combo with Meditate to make it more effective. I ran Datapad with Mediate on a Bazine deck to great effect on the opening round.

ePoe2/eAayla is what I’m messing with. There are so many dumb chains, and it’s crazy consistent.

Exacly. But if you use Poe special to turn another of his dice to another special then you can resolve it immediatly.

Force focus, some Aayla sheanigans, Swiftness and Use the Force/Aim/All In/whatever similar.

Actually Force Speed is great with these as you can resolve your special(focus) and force speed and then resolve what you focused into or you can focus into a force speed special if you need the two action to set something up. These two are very combo-ie with many things and force speed makes for even more shenanigans.

I just want to blank a bunch of opponent dice better than villains and follow it up with Anticipate or Daring Escape in the same turn.
