EDITED: No cookies, jumped the gun, thought it was Trickshot Blackout and the dice was supposed to be red for Blackout.

Ah my bad, I initially thought they put Trick Shot on that and Blackout's dice was supposed to be red.

Can FFG just not put big models on big bases, for once. I'd not be surprised to find this being longer than a large base.
Given its stupid size, in relation to the X wing, it should have a crew slot.
If the A wing s an old sporty Triumph in size, the X Wing a sporty Ford Escort, this thing is a Hummer. With more agility and manouvrebility than a motorbike...

I love the EPT though, and plan on giving it to Wedge to use... Asteroid placement ain't that difficult and I only play casual.

You guys can't complain both about model size and wrong scale. Not saying you do right now, but it's happening all the time.
Besides, have you ever compared modern fighter sizes? A F18A, Rafale, Eurofighter, F35 or F16 is tiny compared to a Su27 or F22 or F18E or the chinese J20
Their example has it kitted out for 45 points. Not sure I'd want a non-regen ship with only one attack taking up almost half the squad points. Also, it contains a lot of situational upgrades on board. I don't doubt some vassal nerd will find something broken about this ship, but for now it's just meh. Soontir is still way cheaper and will be more nimble.

Different people. And I'm not complaining. Although I say it is a Hummer with the agility of a motorbike, flight agility in a vacuum would be unaffected by shape or size. Thrust variation and power, relative to mass, would be key.
It is big though. It should have a crew slot...

Also, if they put a fighter (which despite the size is what this is) on a big base, it would fly in-game TOTALLY different to a fighter, and sort of ruin the thing it does best lol
And size of ship =/= crew slot.

I'm not complaining about scale at all. I'm fairly happy with a sliding scale.
I'm complaining that in practice actually getting this thing in the right places in bumps etc is going to be a PITA, and it's going to be more than a little unbalanced.
Plus I'd like to see the Empire get another GOOD big base ship.

In real life big warplanes are not less maneuverable then smaller ones. Look at Su-27 or Su-35. They are one of the biggest modern fighters and they are maneuverable as ****.
