Over two weeks ago FFG said they were going to start posting articles for Legion. We’ve yet to see anything. When do we think we’ll see the first article?

Maybe starting December....it's a few months (probably) until launch still, so they'll want to time it properly.
Armada just got their first article since August...so less than three months would be nice.
They said coming weeks so I put that around 3-6 weeks out. I don't know? I want some more articles on the mechanics honestly rather than previewing units.
Wow when did they say that? I wouldn't have though that would be their plan at all.

A preview on terrain would be handy. Especially for us new comers to this type of game.

hopefully it will get tied into a "movement" article.
I'm expecting to see something like the following topics......
leaders and commands
movement
combat
deployment, objectives, and board conditions
Then individual articles giving a bit more detail on the units. They could easily start that early next year with 1 a week and not hit the march release recently implied by amazon

Runewars Miniatures was announced around the same time last year, and got a "developer commentary" article at a similar time, too.
Its preview articles started in the first week of January.
Legion might move a little faster than that, since it seems to have started printing much earlier than RWM did (9/21 vs 12/2), but it also might not.
they could still be in playtesting mode, so they dont want to put anything about rules out there yet. Remember xwing changed a lot from Gen con to its release that October (with the dice) I want them to get the mechanics correct.

Possibly. But the game is already at the printers which makes me believe they have everything squared away.
