You can resolve IF once per attack right? That nets you 2 damage per ship per round.
Not sure how effective any fleet command will be with Imps due to the high buy in, but Rebels need it.

You know, all this discussion about content is fine and all, but you're missing the best part of the article. Not only do you get to see a picture of the World Champion in all his Friendly Glory, but you get to see @CaribbeanNinja and me (and my broken ankle) yukking it up in the background. ;D
Haha! I didn't notice that. Is that @PT106 too?

Beat me to it... looks like him.
Note for fleet building with the title: always take the cheapest fleet command, you can change it on the first non-combat round. I'm probably going to run a Cymoon 1 with Quad Turbolaser Cannons, H9 Turbolasers, Gunnery Teams, Chimaera, Wulff Yularen, and STM.

everyone knows GR75's don't have guns. Red die Gozanti's though...

You can't equip Chimera to a Cymoon - the host ship can't already have a Fleet Command slot.
Edited by GhostofNobodyInParticularDid anyone else notice that the article said the Chimaera pack was "repainted and retrofitted?"
Is it possible we are getting a model of an ISD I?
I remember someone identifying what looked like a non-unique title in the Profundity spread.
Perhaps it's a title that would give all large MonCal ships access to fleet command upgrades?
Unlikely, I'll concede, but with FFG clearly showing some love for FCs, maybe some of it will be reciprocal for the rebs.

Unfortunately, that would kill the Pelta in most lists.
Edit: But think of the potential for a Tank HMC80AC with StM!. . .

Its funny, I'll do everything to get Konstantine working, but detest fleet commands having used entrapment once.

Which is why they have done this, I just cant help but feel that Ozzel, Motti or Screed would be better.

6 strong, long range attacks with mods and auto damage. 6 free damage per round. And Konstantine to boot.
Cymoon is probably the worst choice of the ISDs, but it doesn't cost anything for IF.

To me, it looks like the same model; however, this could easily be a mistake in the article, or my own lack of a discerning eye for the differences between the two.
The easiest thing for me to spot is the engine flukes, which aren't visible on either image. The second-easiest is the bridge, which looks the same to me.

There is a clear 7th fleet star destroyer upgrade card with Thrawn so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the same none unique name with the Profundity

True, but aren't the Chimaera pictures just computer generated mock-ups? If the new model is "retrofitted" that might explain the delay in part.
Still waiting on the Profundty reveal. We have no idea what are the speed/yaws and don't even know what the point cost of the other refit is.

I... I mean, I guess it depends what you mean by "retrofitted."
If you mean they're going to literally pick apart existing ISD2 models to replace the bridges, turbolasers, and engine flukes, then we can just reject that idea outright as silly and nonsensical, right? And even if they thought that was a sufficiently worthwhile selling point to go to all that effort for it (or to re-tool their molds for a new version of an existing ship), I'm pretty sure they could have been bothered to put that in the CGI mockup, or call it out explicitly.
But I've been wrong before.
Speaking of delay do we have an ETA yet

I think they said Q1 2018 on Twitter.

They re-did the Falcon for TFA in X-Wing.
I'd be cool with an ISD-I model. I already have one with Mels upgrades. Also, the Chimaera upgrade card, shows the correct bridge layout, not even the ISD-I card shows the correct layout.
3 hours ago, AllWingsStandyingBy said:Wow, Chimera makes a joke of the already laughable Pelta-class.
Why pay for an underefficient pelta chassis that is paying a lot of points for mere access to a single fleet command upgrade when you can instead just slap Chimera onto one of the best combat platforms in the game and use all the fleet commands?
Ridiculous.
You're paying a 4 point tax to get a fleet command on a 110+ point ship. You still need a token to use that swapped out fleet command, making that flexibility a little hard to maintain. I love it thematically, but trust me when I saw it's not all that great. More often, it's best to just take the Cymoon and design your fleet around a chosen fleet command. The Pelta took me a bit, but I've come to appreciate it. It's best viewed as a Rebel Quasar-equivalent.
What you all should really be geeking out about is Intensify Firepower. That is a straight up amazing card for any red-die based fleet. Squadronless Cymoon plus Arquitens here I come.
i'm gonna be that guy and say, wth ffg, after months of wait this, This is what you give us, 2 cards and a lot of blah blah.

They did re-release the Falcon. They didn't pick apart the old ones and replace pieces on it, and the
announcement article
showed it with the updated model.
I'd love an ISD-I model too, there's just no evidence that we're getting one.

Wasn't saying they were, and I highly doubt we're getting one. Just saying the precedent is there. They also advertised the new falcon pretty heavily as a new model, not just a repaint, they haven't done that here.

Crying I didn't make the pic. I'm either behind JJ's head or getting a beer ?
God I miss worlds...
