Shoutout to these regionals for entering most or all lists into listjuggler:

  • Uppsala
  • Ludwigsburg
  • Zaragoza
  • Vancouver
  • Bamberg
  • Atlanta

You guys are awesome!

I have now aggregated 2982 list builds since Genius was nerfed, in 1049 squads. This regional season is getting almost as nice as vassal to look at :D

edit: there are small gems in there. E.g. Vader used more Cruise (23) than Harpoon (17), but those with Harpoons had 0.6 games more won, while those without any missile (8) were even lower than those with cruise. Or 87 out of 106 Mirandas used Harpoon missiles. And so on. This is a goldmine, Jerry, a goldmine!

Are you publishing those stats somewhere? I would really love to see them!

I will after making sure it‘s correct. Unfortunately most is written to handle tier-specific data from the vassal league, and I have to change a lot of code to fix it.

Edit: I can tell you that 1905 ships (64%) used some form of non-normal arc, which includes PWT, SWT, or 180° auxiliary arcs, but I deliberately don't add rear facing arcs here. That is actually an improvement... Worse is actually squads with at least one of them; there you get 70% squads with at least one of the mentioned arcs. That includes e.g. a list of 3 Green squadron A-wings with a wookie. Still, I think it's closer to what we are actually asking: how dominant are turrets and turret-like ships.

Also pleased to see two different players making the cut with Quickdraw/2xPS4 Silencer at the past two UK regionals!

Do you know if any of these games were streamed, they sound like an interesting build

EDIT 2 weeks later: sorry that the images are removed, but I don't want to mix up anything and I'm putting it together now. Coming soon (tm)

It's starting to come together again. Here are two teasers:

SO3xcpZ.png

And the win percentage for pilots with at least 15 games played. Miranda, Nym, Vader, Quickdraw, Inquisitor, Rho and Nu are split into Harpoon/notHarpoon

5Hl0yRU.png

You can clearly see how much better Quickdraw is when using Harpoons, for example, while Inquisitor+Harpoon is not even on the graph. And you can see the mentioned Lothal > Kanan, too.

Edit: and bonus histogram of HP, pinging @Cloaker
oUeLJN0.png

This is NOT adjusted for Hull or Shield upgrades! There are 8 each, but those 16 ships won't change the picture compared to the other 2966

Final edit: also, I'll not post more about it in here because I don't want to clogg it up. Sorry for the off-topic-ish post

I don't know what is sadder, the fact that scum have been proven to not be a viable faction anymore, or that there are only 3-4 ships really now that you can fly competitively with them. And it looks like the volume of squads show 4 or less HP to be less than 10% of the lists, If I'm reading it right (am I?)

The 15 games played graph seems to indicate that while asajj is solid, the contracted scout may STILL be where the power of scum lies.

But still, the power of scum looks... very, very poor.

For what it's worth, IF (big if), I go to my regional in a week in a half, I'm taking a 4 ship scum list.

Said scum list has 3 ships with 5 or less HP, all are fixed arc or fixed and rear arc, no PS higher than 8, and no poons.

The HP graph shows individual ships, not squads! I will add one where HP per squad is shown.

I‘ll also do the networks again, showing which ships/pilots were used together and how often.

IMO there are two different but equally interesting questions to be answered:

1. What does well?

2. What is to be expected?

And swiss is different from cuts in that regard. You also need to go through the lists that are common yet not so good to get into the upper bracket and later cut where the better lists are waiting. And I am a bit more focusing on what is to be expected, because metawing already does a good job answering what does well.

@GreenDragoon GreenDragoon those stats are awesome! If I had known in advance you were going through that work I would have made sure the 2 regionals I attended got every lists on juggler. I'll see if I can still make it but I have some doubts.

I'm not particularly interested on ps and hp numbers (imo they are nice curiosity tidbit, but quite pointless to read and elaborate), but win rates are fantastic to see! Do you happen to have made something similar just for the cut?

I didn't push the point enough in the past weeks, and even back then not stronger than that ^^

Usual plea to get the lists and enter them into listjuggler.

I‘ll type in lists myself, but I need them in some form.

Vassal league is amazing in that regard, but all these regionals are adding up.

HP and PS can maybe help a bit during list building. If you have two versions and are not sure, then it might be helpful. But I'm also interested mainly out of curiosity.

I need to adjust some things to get cuts. One problem is that they vary in size. And as mentioned I wrote most for the vassal league, where there are no cuts. I will add them, too, at some point. Hopefully rather sooner than later.

Yeah I missed your post sadly.

So does the graphs include both those regionals and the vassal league or are just for the regionals?

These are just regionals, from January 27th 2018 onwards. Also no system open due to the different pairings.

I know that Raphael Cogneau ran Kanan Fenn, but I don’t know the configuration

There are still 2 lists in the top 16 missing.

Any chance those can be found?

I believe both Andreas and Raphael were running Ghosts.

Edit: found and added both lists as well as the details of Timo's Dengar/Nym.

Seattle has Crimson Specialist in the finals.

What a time to be alive.

(I don't have the full list.)

The last Italian Regional was Legnano.

There were 61 players and it was won by a Dash Miranda beating a Ghost Fenn in the final.

33 ribels, 15 imperials and 13 scums.

The most common archetypes were Ghost Fenn (7), Miranda nym (5) and tripladef/brobots (3)

Quite a weird meta with very few Asaji all around

Top 8 was:

-Miranda Nym

-Miranda Nym

-Dash Miranda (the winner)

-Ghost Fenn

-Miranda Nym

-Ghost Fenn

-Vader QD gunboat

-Ghost Fenn

I didn't attend, so I don't know if I can manage to get all the lists on juggler for GreenDragoon magic

So who won Seattle regional? Not the crimson specialist player from what I gather.

The Polish System Open is now on listjuggler (won by Lukasz Golonka with Yorr/Inquisitor/Quickdraw):

The hyperspace has also been added:

http://lists.starwarsclubhouse.com/get_tourney_details?tourney_id=4075

Huge events (the hyperspace was 328 people!), so it would be great if anyone who was there could fill in their lists!

Justin O. with Jess, Lowhrikk and Miranda ended up taking it in the end.

Sorry if I missed it but do we have the resistance bomber list from Seattle up yet?

No. TD says the lj entry will be uploaded this week sometime though!

Glad to hear it. I must take note of who my 32 new enemies are.
