Can someone walk me through dice pool construction?

What,exactly, causes trouble ?

You take as many black dice as your Ring, and as many white as your Skill.

If you spend a Void point, you add a black.

If someone is Assisting you : you add a black if their own skill is 0, or a white if is is 1+.

And then, after rolling...

If you have a relevant distinction, reroll 0-2 of your choice

If you have a relevant adversity, reroll 0-2 that have rolled a success or explosive of the GM's choice

then drop until only (Ring+Helpers) dice remain, ignoring color of dice.
