Is this about as good as it gets? I'm pretty sure the bid is high enough for Regionals, on Demolisher Im just going for total damage potential which allows me to bring Monferrot since the approach can be harder w/o Engine Techs. Fighter cover seems fine since this fleet moves fast and should kill fast.

Asking b/c I think this will be my competetive list for a while...maybe on up to Nova next year barring new cards from Wave 7.

Looks good, though I might swap engineering captain for SFO, it’s much cheaper and you should still be able to get the same “emergency repair” effect with just a little more planning/timing required.

Then use the leftover points for engine techs for Demo. Even post-nerf engine techs is almost auto include (for me) on Glads due to the extra maneouverability, range, and escapability it provides

I played a Devastator list for the first time at a very small tourney recently. I had a bid of 16 and at the last minute I added Hondo which dropped it to 14.

First game my opponent had a bid of 16. I lost because I couldn't bring my main guns to bear until too late in the game when Devastator went pop too.

Second game my opponent's bid was 15 and I lost because I couldn't get a Devastator shot of at all, because he was last-firsting though my front arc.

Last game I won the bid and played his Contested Outpost. I won because I popped his ISD from no hull damage to dead in one activation then escaped.

I wouldn't play my Devastator list again with a bid under 18 now. Lesson learned. Take from that what you will.
