How many blisters pack units can I bring to a campaign mission?

By Marcus2410, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

I have been looking around for an answer and can’t seem to find it as to how many blister pack units I can bring as an IP.

i.e. Can I bring two deployment cards of regular hired guns? Or is it only one elite and one regular? Or is it only one regardless of type?

For campaign: One of each expansion, except both deployment cards in one pack of Hired Gun, ISB Infiltrator, and Jawa Scavenger, i.e. two packs worth of figures (regular and elite). Practically though, apart from Hired Guns you probably never want to use more than one group.

Thanks!

I have not read through the information sheets in the packs for so long that I forgot the information is there. And as it applies to so few imperial and mercenary packs, “component limitations” isn’t a common feature on the sheets.

Advanced information:

Technically you could have (at least) two AT-ST's and General Weiss, because the General Weiss pack doesn't have any component limitations chapter. The component limitations chapter first came in the Hired Guns pack.

Uniques are naturally limited to one, and mostly rebel non-uniques are naturally limited to 1, because the rebels can only take up to one earned ally. There is one case where the rebels are not forbidden to take an earned ally that's already in the mission, but it should be covered by the component limitation of the number of figures. (You cannot strictly use both tokens and figures at the same time -- the tokens are representing the plastic figures, so the plastic figures replace the tokens, they are not in addition to them.)
