Han may hold the record for the Kessel run but my crew prefer to fly a little more casual. If we can, it's always fun to get a few games of Legion in while we are on, erm, 're-supply' runs. With this in mind second job of the refit after hoovering all the Wookie hair from the bunks was to get a gaming table installed in the Falcon!!

Out of curiosity, which Falcon toy are you using for that detailed build?

Its the diagostini studio scale (1/48 perfect for legion!) came in 100 issues over a couple of years then sat in the shed for another couple before I had the tie and space to build it..finding somewhere to put it now is another matter!

Well...'I don't think I will bother painting the underside' didn't quite go to plan!!!

Pretty much finished the falcon, exterior all painted up, just a few more greebles and pipes to cram into the interior, here's a few more shots, will get some atmospheric pics once I have painted up the space port!

While I was waitng for some new engine LED's I decided to kill a little time by pulling out those crappy 2D stickers and scratching up some 3D panels for the gunner position. nothing screen accurate mind you, just something to add a little more interest

those LED's landed too, scrumtios blue glow to the Falcon's Derrière now, she's a looker!

Oh, almost forgot, out on a dogwalk spotted a plastic bottle that, with a little scratch building foo, I figured would be perfect for.....

Miniatures playing miniature Legion on a miniature millennium falcon. That. Is. Incredible. You win. Bravo.

The Rebels attempt to hack into an Imperial network while Chewy and Han keep a look out! Added a few blingy bits to the Falcon, ground buzzer for those unwanted guests, added hydraulic cables to all the landing gear and some internal doors that simply slide in and out. All should offer up some extra interaction for Legion and Star Wars RPG

Just waiting on some drill bits and fibre optics to finish off the cockpit of the Falcon so decided to throw some paint over this old kenner toy I picked up cheap on ebay. Its pretty much as close as we get scale wise to legion. Just in the nick of time too as it seems Fett just apprehended the notorious smuggler 'tickle me Solo'!!!

The Imperial get all 'blasty' after the SC2-M fails it's MOT! Buildings and truck from Imp terrain, all the other widgets, barrels n stuff from us (combatzone scenery) experimented printing the building at 80% and 0.3 to save time. works quite well and the quality isn't too important if you are texturing it like I did

'It's a simple job' he said, 'just go to the old dragon bones and pick up the shipment'...next time I arrange the jobs! New piece of scenery! A huge skeleton of a desert dragon measuring in at a whopping 14" (36 cm) plenty of room to offer cover to nearby troops. One piece cast simply have to attach the horns, throw a little paint over it and your set! Should be on the website next couple of days

Pile 'o Junk finally finished (for now)!

If your wondering....strictly speaking its not THE falcon, its a converted YT-1300 freighter of which there are thousands throughout the galaxy, lets call it the 'Grumpy Tyke'. I intend to use it for RPG games also which is why I included a lot of hooks such as doors, secret rooms, etc to create situations to roleplay and game through, armoured doors for instance might prove a good barricade in Legion games. I don't even think its finished as if the RPG crew decide to install extras I may well model them in. There are some good reference pics in the Haynes manual of bolt on armour and small interceptor craft for instance, like the falcon itself this ship is going to tell a story of its own! The miniatures simply represent a few weirdos I picked up on a local planet, some annoying teen who has an unhealthy appr ciation of his sister and his dodgy looking 'uncle' (ssssay there ssssony). Personally I reckon I might kick them off at the next planet, they look like trouble

And now the innards...

I squeezed an old Kenner sound system into a Thermal detonator to make a funky sound box, will be lots of fun in RPG and games!

Also added a simple drop ramp for the back to create another point of interest in games, just slides under there. printed out a little cargo skiff and bike for those planet side adventures and jobs too

Where do you live and how do we get in on these RPG sessions?! Seriously, awesome work. That will be an absolute pleasure to game with. Talk about getting the group immersed into the world.
