Awesome work! Motivates me to get busy printing and spend some time painting the terrain.
Do you print most of your Imperial Terrain at 100% or scale down. I have a smaller printer and most of the objects are too big. I am thinking about a larger printer! What we do to play with our Star Wars toys!
Hi mate, i could print them off full size (prusa i3) but i tend to scale them down to 80 or 90 percent, also if its the basic stuff i print on 0.3 adaptive layers, saves hours on the print time and a few coats of filler primer and textured spray sorts all the evils of 3d prints
just printed a complete IT landing bay to fit the falcon, over 20 sections! Also just finishing up his new landing pad and printed that free Imperial shuttle from thingiverse, fits perfectly! pictures soon with all the imperial troops from 2 core boxes and expansions..i never want to see a bloody stormtrooper again!!
Imperial forces from a couple of core boxes finished, I never want to paint white again!
Also printd up a shuttle, not the right scale of course but nice gamescale, let's call it a Lambda B personal shuttle
Tie crawler also printed along with that funky landing pad from Imperial terrain, currently printing up a larger 4 pad version for the two tie's I have, it's going to be part of my Imperial base table
Other walkers from Imperial Assault, smaller of course but perfectly usable in my fly casual games, could always use the larger Legion walker as an objective prototype 'super walker'!
Never particularly been a fan of the clear base but I decided to go this way as it drops the legion enough to allow my IA figures to be used alongside without looking 'a little short for a stormtrooper' also these guys will probably be showing up a lot onboard the YT-1300 and I didn't want them tramping in big clods of sandy mud all over the nice clean floor

Hey! Your stuff looks great. How did you paint your bases? Was it armageddon dust? Mine came out as a much darker brown, but it seems like you captured the exact look I was aiming for.
Hi Copes, Tamiya colours, base of flat earth followed by desert sand then buff and a little dry brushing of GW screaming skull/bleached bone/sanctified elf skin or whatever the f08k it's called nowadays!
Slowly slogging through the Rebel stuff between other things Speeders and Walkers done!
Sure as **** wasn't going to shelve those Revell speeders I had already done, I won't lose any sleep over the slight size difference!
All mounted on ball and socket joints btw in case you are wondering why one is pointing the wrong way, twist, turn and pew pew to your hearts content!
Oh, I finally finished printing and painting the parts to create the huge port to take the 'Grumpy Tyke', here is a teaser, lots more pics to follow!
Oh my god I hate you so much right now. Look, I usually feel inadequate in my painting. I play painted, I take pride in that, but if a squad takes more than an evening then I'm out.
Right now I'm working out how I can achieve two tasks:
Straight up: bra-bloody-vo. I've been showing this to friends who never thought to paint a toy soldier, and we have achieved universal goggle-eye. This, this thing right here. This is The Thing.
I'm off to spend 20 years or so getting to this point of skill. I give myself a 50% chance. If I really work at it.

The crew of the 'Grumpy Tyke' receive a hostile reception from Imperial forces. Probably shouldn't have palmed off those dodgy splicers to Vader last visit! Finally made a little space to set out the port. Port from Imperial terrain, little crates n stuff from combatzone scenery. Miniatures a mix of legion and IA. Will probably print out a couple more corner section to allow me to create two smaller ports

Wish I had the space mate and I would create some serious set pieces! Everything at the moment is a real compromise between what I can build and what I can then pack away into a cardboard box! Roll on those lottery numbers and the big 30 bedroom mansion...one to live in and the other 29 rooms to store my ****
That's the rebel troops done, couple of core sets worth and the available expansions plus a few 3d prints (towers) and a couple of revel speeders to bulk it out. swapped the head rounds on the Ion troopers so they were easier to spot in the heat of battle, hate faffing about looking for stuff and spoilers the flow

Air support for legion! Revell kit 06675 for the ties, pretty much cock on scale wise. Xwings are disney rogue one toys, slightly too small but picked them up for 10 quid a piece, considering the price of closer scale models I aint losing any sleep! All models have had a quick repaint. Printed some 120mm bases, wanged a few rocks and a bit of grass, probably just scale up some xwing templates and bodge the rules into legion
The rebels call in air support on an Imperial Research facility!
