I think there might be a reveal embargo for the X-wing articles so the TIE Silencer will likely be revealed next week. Even though the last unboxing kind of jumped the gun but it was on the same day as the article so they may have been following embargo even though the video was before the article.

Yeah, I've wondered that as well.

Spikey Bits was asked for the TIE Silencer unboxing and simply responded with "well I can't upload all the videos at once can I" which implies it's coming...

Also, Google-fu told me that one person claims they were told from someone with an NDA that PS7 Test Pilot Blackout's ability is rolling an extra 2 dice when obstructed, which would correspond with what we can see of the card.

This one being much more voluntary, and it's easy for FFG/Asmodee to discipline/punish a single tabletop Youtuber as opposed to one of the largest chains in the world.
Beyond magnitude the circumstances are very much different. Here's hoping that we get a Friday Silencer article which will do the complete opposite of silencing.

Actually, this makes a lot of sense to use with the Debris EPT (take an action to get an evade token for each obstacle in your firing arc at range 1, to a maximum of 2).

It goes nicely with Advanced Sensors to mean you can fly up behind a rock and move out from behind it before moving next turn, but it's not that useful. It's very, very situational and difficult to get off at mid PS.

But hey, potentially 6 die primary with Trick Shot. Woo I guess?

Sounds like Kylo will be the only pilot worth flying. I was expecting that but am still disappointed by it.

Anyway, I am really not sure about the dial for the (A)vengence(r), it's super large, which seems like it shouldn't be having all the greens in the world, especially when even TIE-Interceptors are rather limited on their greens. But it seems super expensive, so without a good dial it would not see much play. Kylo with PTL, AT, com relay, title and as is like 48 points. So it better has a better dial than the E-Wing, because it just as expensive as corran horn without any regen.

I wish the vanguard title would not be a discard to be honest.

I regret to inform you that the Silencer doesn't have an evade action, so comm relay isn't very useful there.

Maybe if Youngster's ability wasn't "TIE Fighter only" we could have some fun with the Silencer's new EPT.

Squints have the (joint) third most green on their dial of any un-upgraded ship (first being the Aggressor, which doesn't have green turns, second being the A Wing), they're hardly limited.

And its dial is already better than the E Wing, given that it has a green turn.
