So after looking at my Imperial Raider model, I noticed the one in Battlefront II looks NOTHING like the original, besides the obvious hanger bay where there is random details, I feel the scale of the ship is also seriously increased in size, so can we assume the Imperial Raider Corvus is a scaled up version of the Original? Imperial Raider MK II.
Imperial Raider MK II?
Well keep in mind that the Huge ships in X-Wing are not to scale. If they were they’d each be roughly twice as big.
*EDIT: at least the CR-90 and the raider. Not sure about the smaller Huge ships.
Edited by HerowannabeThe Gozanti and C-ROC are in scale to the fighters and freighters, while the other epic ships are a sliding scale.
Well When I say scale, I dont mean scaled to JUST the X-Wing Minatures, I mean overall scale on ITSELF vs its BF2 appearance, it feels like there is more room in areas of the ship, like between the rear Tie Foils and Forward Under side Tie Foils., the bridge looks like its raised up more compared to its miniature too, also the nose looks like it might hide a cannon in it in BF2.
BTW, I feel need to make this clear, I in no way indorse anything created by EA. EA should be closed down.
Edited by ZeoinxYeah good luck closing EA down. The fire may be on them but they're covered in asbestos. However, mesothelioma is a slow but sure death so it'll happen to EA eventually.
I didn't really notice a difference on The Corvus TBH.

It is different. The shots of the Corvus after the defecting to the Rebellion don't show the "TIE little wings". Also, it looks like it has some sort of cannon in the nose and some more plating in the back.

Later (?):
EDIT: from the wiki: "After the defection of Iden Versio the Corvus was handed over to the New Republic operation, upon which the ship was later given a paint job in New Republic livery and heavily modified."

Looks like a major refit/overhaul to the superstructure and in particular the engines. If I had my guess, she went through a fight that left one heck of a mark. So doubtful that it's a Raider Mk II so much as a Raider with... makeshift modifications.
I believe they called it "to feel, not to scale" back when the CR90 came out.
Other than that, the only thing I noticed to be truly different in game that would be noticeable on the model are the triangle-shaped bridge windows. They probably did that to make it look more Star-Destroyer-like, especially on the inside.
As for the nose- well, we do know that you can hide quite a lot in there (ordnance silos for example).
EA is a large company. It will take a LOT more than one blunder to take them down.
Though i do hope they go out of business in my lifetime. I'd love to see that news article about that one....

They've had far more than one blunder. They didn't reach this level of hate over one mistake. They released 1/3 of a game with Battlefront 1. That's twice they've screwed up what should be a sure thing with the Battlefront franchise. Hopefully, Disney pulls their license over the bad PR and we get better Star Wars games instead of blatant cash grabs.
I like BF2 but the loot box scandal and the lack of offline bot modes (arcade sucks) makes me uncomfortable having EA as the exclusive maker of Star Wars video games for the foreseeable future.

Hello there. You might know me from the Star Wars: Rebels thread, where I spoiled the end of Battlefront II 2 somewhat accidentally.
Then it can be assumed I know about that iteration of the Corvus, and clearly was not talking about its obvious differences to the stock Corvus.
But instead was speaking of the stock Corvus having few differences to the Imperial Raider.
I am also the same person who continues to point out the differences in vessel scale, and even minor things like exactly what is different and how it is different, on the TIE Defender Elite from Rebels, VS their stock TIE Defender.
If signatures were still a thing I would be amending it to say, "Yes, I did notice that glaring difference about X ship, feel free to ask me Y question about it for Z answer."
Oh good, then its not just me that thinks the ship is different.

Like External Racks or Assault Concussion Missiles?
Reference anyone?
As long as the rebels don't get another faction's ship AGAIN I'm happy

That wasn't the end. Next chapter is released on December 13/14 along side Phasma and Finn.
Then they have more inline with Obi/Grevious.
So . . . don't feel too bad!

I don't feel bad. But I'm aware of the next new content.
If it makes you feel better, BF2 is a **** game overall and you are saving people from wasting there money on EA.
