Trajectory Simulator & "Genius" (with Bomblet Generator)

Hi Folks! Hope things are going well for you my friends :) .

Do these upgrades work together by chance?

From my understanding they should given that both conditions of no launching mines (bombs with Action: ) are met, "drop" gets swapped out for "launch" and finally (though not as important) two bomb slots meet the Bomblet Generator. Thoughts? Good to go? Engage super bombs?

They will work together, but you can only use Genius once, as he will make you discard the Bomblet Generator.

Edit: Then again you do get the Torpedo slot on the Scurrg so you could actually do it twice with Extra Munitions on board.

You need the errata version of Genius from the most recent FAQ.

If you lose Genius, you're only losing the ability to launch after moving. You can still launch bomblets each turn and you're only limited by the number of templates you have.

You discard the bomblet generator itself, not genius.

I'm aware of that. What I'm saying is don't bother equipping Genius to start with.

or go the extra mile with extra munitions!

Now if only the resisance bomber had a crew slot...

It doesn't have crew, despite being probably the biggest ship in standard scale X Wing, because Sabine would be broken as heck on it.

Welcome to the Empire world of not having a good Two Crew ship because of Palpatine. He is probably the only reason the Kylo Ren shuttle is ****, or why the stupid Tie Shuttle title is limited to 4 cost.

Because of the fact that it causes you to NEED an extra ship to bring Sabine. If this ship could be completely self contained with Sabine it would be busted to **** and gone.

(I'm going to blow +thespaceinvader 's mind here and agree with him): yeah, if this thing had a crew, you could then drop Sabine on it (giving you another bomb slot), add in its Ordinance Silos and load out with 8 bombs (4x 2 types). Here's a crit and damage for you, a crit and damage for you, and you and you....everyone get a proton surprise today...

As it is TS on 3 Punishers with Proton Bombs (two of them with extra munitions) is pretty much going to eliminate swarms in formation for a while.

Hera crew would also have been problematic, although not to the same extent. A bomber with Hera sitting in a corner and throwing Bomblets out doesn't sound like a particularly pleasant play experience.

(Traditional TIE) Swarms have been eliminated for like 2 waves. Autoblaster Nym burned them, and now Harpoons have kicked the corpse over a cliff.

Right, which is why Sabine is dumb. Let's lock a massive ship out of ALL crew options because we ****** up ONE card.

Im just wondering if anyone else saw that the faq says you "may" discard the equipped bomb. Doesnt say "must". To me that seems like it should be for the discarded bombs not bomblet generator.

If you don't discard the bomb, you don't get to use Genius. You may discard it if you want to activate the card.
