On the off chance that someone from the FFG office is reading this forum, I'd like to enter a plea for some new TI games. Specifically:

• A TI-themed tactical battle game, both space combat and planetary combat, at a scale similar to ToI. Lots of alien races, lots of cool miniatures. I'd gladly part with $100 for a game like this.
• With all the adventure games coming out, (Middle Earth Quest, Song of Ice and Fire Adventure Game, etc.), a TI Adventure Game would be splendid. For that matter any sci-fi adventure game would be great, like Runebounds in Space but in the TI universe.
• A TI RPG
• A TI LCG

Twilight Imperium is the original FFG game, the universe that launched it all. As FFG's foundational IP, I would love to see it used and developed more, rather than (or in addition to) the Warhammer 40K universe, which frankly I find a bit too grim and too "Roman Empire-ish" for my tastes. Lately, you've been developing and promoting your original Battlemist universe of Terrinoth with Runewars, Descent, and Runebound, and I love it as it's original and all FFG. Can't you do the same thing with the worlds and races of the TI universe?

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing some of the ideas used in Runewars ported back to TI. Barring a 4th edition of TI, however, I don't think that will happen. At least not officially.

I'd also like to see a "TI Adventure" game. I have a few fevered ideas on that point myself, but nothing really serious. For a while I was really hoping the 3rd box on the front page would be something like this (I knew it would be a new game as opposed to an expansion to anything.)

RPG I'm not so hot on. I can make up the TI races for use in any of the 500 other RPG systems I have already if I really want to do that. Besides which, there's already one out there, if you can find it. Didn't sell too well, as I hear it.

Have to admit, I'm not hot on an RPG either...way too hard to find folks around here to play an rpg.

Twilight Imperium - The Online MMORPG Game. That could've been awesome.

Twilight Imperium RPG already exists but has been out of print for a while now and would need some major revisions to be truly playable. It was thrown out quicjly after TI 1st edition and then not much was done with it. You can still find some older copies for sale on E-bay.

The original RPG book (1999) had only 1 other book to come out in 2000.
