Resistance Bomber & Sheathipede Unboxed (Spoilers)

Poptics.

Not my word.

I think optics are rather nice on backdraft, who tends to sloop a lot.

It's weird that Rattled only seems to be used for Crimson Leader.

Not much different from Pilot Rex being the only person in the galaxy capable of Suppressive Fire, and Thweek is the only way to use his two Conditions. Hux Crew is the only way to get Fanatical Devotion. IWSYTDS can come from multiple variants of Kylo, but always Kylo.

PA is definitely better on BD. Way more flexibility.

Crimson Sqd Pilot - 25

Total: 100

That's 48 hull and shields to work through. 2 attack isn't great, but with a 360 arc...

Who else is getting four now?

With Trick shot!!

I think it is just red hard 1 turns.

Red turns.

Quick question on Advanced Optics:

Poe has AO and another ship has Jan Ors on board. Poe already has a focus token from a previous turn. Can he do a focus action so that Jan Ors can turn it to an evade for him?

Seems legit. Adv Optics doesnt prevent focus actions, just the normal result. You could totally Jan for an evade.

Yeah, you don't ever assign a second Focus to Poe when he uses the Focus action and you trigger Jan Ors; you instead assign an Evade token to Poe, therefore bypassing the Adv Optics restriction.

Yeah, I'm not sure if its a better pick than Pattern Analyzer. For instance, a typical move I do on approach is something like 3 bank right, followed by 3 sloop left + Focus with PA. You could Focus during Turn 1, and have that ready on Turn 2, however, that's about it. You don't get any additional value from Adv Optics unless you have a turn where you have disengaged and can bank another Focus, or simply never, ever roll a Focus result during a turn. With PA you can continuously get value down the road if you ever have to sloop again, or pull a 1 hard or 3 hard. I really like using PA to 1 hard then barrel roll back, often people forget about that move and zoom right by, end up at range 1 in the rear arc with no arc on BD.

AdvOptics get value with being blocked if you do manage to bank another Focus, or have another source, like Operations Specialist, General Hux, etc.

I think it depends on the rest of your squad. PA also really opens up the /sf's dial since the red moves don't hurt as much.

The model looks smaller than I thought. And neither the points' nor monies' cost are very appealing.

Such a shame half of the upgrades are ship-specific, too. Going to buy it for the Nym bomb catapult and Poe fix mostly.

It's almost like JumpMasters were way too good, or something...

Ordinance Silos would have been very nice to have on a Punisher, I sad :(

Silos and proton bombs with trajectory sims, LWF and unguided rockets would have been a nice build.

Yeah. Its somewhat ironic that if you put some of these upgrades on the Punisher it might actually be decent.

Man, two advanced optics for $40? Yikes.

you don't need Ordinace silo's on TIE/it's, they die too fast to use them all. Use Em instead

Why Can't it be?
