The design on Crosswing Formation is EXTREMELY interesting. I believe it's the first card in the game to reference a Faction (eg. Resistance, Imperial) and that opens up a ton of new design space in future.

I like it because I've been feeling like splitting the factions into Rebels/Resistance is needed to try and curb how much you can just cherry-pick and combo-build from the larger card pool. It's tough to reverse-engineer into the game but by softly shaping the game that way through upgrades... it's a good tool for the designer to have up their sleeve.

It's weird that Rattled only seems to be used for Crimson Leader.

I'm going to assume that Resistance refers to any ships within the faction... given that "Rebel" applies to resistance ships.

Advanced Optics is 2 points?? Poe has a nice new tech for sure.

And the Sheathipede dial is not bad!

Emon is going to like Ordnance silos- now he no longer has to choose between the Andrasta title for more bombs slots and Slave 1 title for Extra Munitions.

Is there anything left to spoil from the Sheathipede shuttle?

Hmmmm... I can't think of anything in main text like Crossguard Formation. I was thinking of the "Rebel only" limitation.

I think Poe still might like Comm Relay more via Intensity. The Sheathipede dial is decent. Definitely not meant to go fast or be able to K turn as well with only a 3k.

Advanced Optics is surprisingly aggressively priced. I like it.

Bombers look interesting but not abusive like Nym. $40 though... Ugh.

Haha true. Although if Kylo kicks off the PS wars in earnest I think PS 11 R2-D2 Poe might become a thing, with Advanced Optics letting you increase his offensive output by taking target locks.

What I meant to say is that the Sheathipede dial looks ready made to fly alongside ARC-170s, which is really what I was looking for. No need to k-turn if your ships all have rear arcs!

As soon as I saw it I knew this would be an issue... I had a bit of an internal headshake.

They need to really clarify how this 'multiple factions but really the same faction' thing works explicitly. RAW, it seems that only the new movie ships work with it, but I think it's intended to work with the whole Rebel faction too.

Who knows, maybe the rule sheet included clarifies this for sure. But for now, I think everyone will reasonably allow you to use it as intended.

Looks like Crimson Specialist is just for reveal bombs.

"When placing a bomb token you dropped after revealing your maneuver dial, you may place the bomb token anywhere in the play area touching your ship."

So overall we have the following ships that can equip the trajectory simulator and the bomblet generator:

- Scurrg

- Punisher

- The new Resistance bomber

I will make a prediction: upon release, casual games will be filled with many, many random explosions accross the map.

Rebel faction includes Alliance and Resistance sub-factions. Resistance only is new. Alliance only would be the equivalent for OT ships. Now we need Old Man Luke and we could have some fun with FO vs Resistance only tourneys.

Not too aggressively priced compared to Rey, who's the same price and way better.
