Intensity when to flip

By Dpro, in X-Wing Rules Questions

I am running an intensity Poe and wanted to fully understand when to flip. I am using BB-8 and would plan to reveal green, barrel roll, gain a focus from intensity then move. I would still have a chance to boost after I moved with my regular action.

In this case can I still get another focus or evade from the boost and intensity? Or is the card already flipped? Based on its wording it seems like it should already be flipped to exhausted before I get a chance at another token from the boost, but I’ve seen people who talk about Jake and others getting tons of tokens with intensity.

Any help with the sequencing and why it works that way would help. Hope to get to bring this to regionals and want to make sure I have mechanics right. Thanks

The card flips at your choice after you do a BR or Boost action , and cannot be flipped back until the end of the turn.

Jake is kind of a special case, because of the way his ability interacts with Intensity, meaning you can get two focus tokens, a boost, and a barrel roll, just by him having Intensity and using it ones (focus action > barrel roll > intensity focus > boost), and still have space to use Push the LImit to get a TL or evade if you wish.

Awesome. Thanks for the clarification. Would have been cool to get two, but still works well with one.
